Unexpected Twist: Dem Senator Joins Forces With Trump Against Libs

Democratic Pennsylvania Sen. John Fetterman has expressed hope for President Trump’s second term, saying he is not rooting against him and that doing so would be rooting against the country. In a recent interview on ABC News’ “This Week,” Fetterman discussed his optimism for Trump’s presidency and pushed back against the fierce criticism he has faced from Democrats since his first term.

Despite the constant attacks from Democrats, Fetterman remains optimistic about Trump’s presidency, telling co-host Jonathan Karl, “If you’re rooting against the president, you’re rooting against the nation and I’m not ever gonna be where I want a president to fail. So, country first.” He also urged people to “chill out” and give Trump a chance to govern before making judgments about his presidency.

Fetterman’s belief in Trump’s potential for success is not new. In the past, he has praised the former president for his “special” bond with his home state of Pennsylvania and called his victory a “serious flex for the bros.” Fetterman also pushed back against the narrative that Trump and his supporters are fascists, telling Politico, “I love people that are absolutely going to vote for Trump. They’re not fascists. They’re not those things.”

He also criticized Democrats for “scolding” voters and ridiculing Trump supporters, stating that this approach would not work for the party. Fetterman urged Democrats to have a more understanding and open-minded view of Trump supporters instead of immediately labeling them as far-right extremists.

In early December, Fetterman also came to Trump’s defense in the face of what he called “politically motivated” cases against him. During an appearance on “The View,” he argued that it would be “appropriate” for Trump to be pardoned in both the Alvin Bragg case and the criminal prosecution against Hunter Biden, as both cases have been driven by political motives.

Fetterman’s unwavering support for Trump and calls for Democrats to give him a chance have sparked controversy within the party, but his message remains clear: rooting against the president is rooting against the country. As we begin a new year, Fetterman’s words are a reminder to set aside political differences and work towards a better future for all Americans.

Finally, a politician that wants to put America First.
Sen. Fetterman, you are a rare democrat and are earning the respect of independent voters. Keep up the good work.

Sen. Fetterman is doing the smart and logical thing for all democrats and liberals to do and that is to support President Trump and this country. One would think the democratic party would have sense enough to understand that most of the citizen of the United States have had it with the liberal and woke ways. But obviously not and will continue to shoot themselves in the foot.
