WOW! The Washington Gut Punches Kamala With No Endorsement!

It looks like Kamala Harris just got blindsided by one of her most reliable allies: The Washington Post. That’s right, folks. The so-called “Democracy Dies in Darkness” paper has decided not to endorse any candidate in the 2024 presidential race—and won’t in future elections, either. And for Kamala, that’s got to feel like a punch straight to the gut.

You’d think the media, which has been carrying water for Harris and other Democrats for years, would throw its weight behind her. But nope, the same paper that’s spent years preaching about the “threat to democracy” posed by Trump has suddenly gone silent. The message to Kamala? “You’re on your own.” And make no mistake, this is more than just an editorial decision; it’s a huge public snub.

The End of a Cozy Relationship

Let’s be real. The Washington Post has been a faithful cheerleader for Democrats for decades, pushing narratives that favor the left and paint the right as villains. Yet here they are, 11 days before the election, saying they won’t endorse anyone—especially not Kamala Harris. Is it because they finally realized she’s unelectable? Or maybe they’re just tired of pretending that she’s got what it takes to lead the nation.

The decision comes from William Lewis, The Washington Post’s publisher and CEO, who claims it’s a return to the paper’s “roots” of non-endorsement. Yeah, right. If this was really about sticking to tradition, they wouldn’t have made so many exceptions over the years to endorse candidates they believed were “right” for America. It’s only when Kamala Harris is the frontrunner that they suddenly rediscover their supposed independence. The timing couldn’t be more suspicious.

Kamala’s Campaign in Freefall

The hits just keep coming for Harris. This snub is part of a broader trend of left-leaning institutions refusing to back her campaign. Just a few days ago, The Los Angeles Times announced it wouldn’t endorse a candidate either. Their editorials editor, Mariel Garza, even resigned over the decision, calling it a betrayal. Apparently, not even California’s most influential newspaper can muster up enough enthusiasm for Harris.

The unions aren’t jumping on board either. The Teamsters, who’ve typically endorsed Democratic candidates, have also backed off from Harris this time. Talk about a rough campaign season. The silence from her usual allies is deafening, making it painfully clear that Harris’s support is crumbling at the worst possible time.

A “Neutral” Washington Post? Don’t Bet on It

Let’s not pretend this decision makes The Washington Post some beacon of neutrality. It’s the same paper that’s run countless editorials labeling Trump a “threat to democracy” while doing everything it could to prop up Harris and her administration. So, why the sudden retreat? Could it be that endorsing Harris would be like hitching their wagon to a sinking ship? It’s not just Harris’s campaign that’s at stake here; it’s their credibility, too—or at least whatever’s left of it.

Lewis insists that the decision is about giving readers the chance to make up their own minds. Sure, because that’s what The Washington Post has been all about, right? Independent thought. This is the same paper that’s spent years spoon-feeding its readers anti-Trump talking points. But when it comes to Harris, they’re suddenly too scared to put their name behind her.

What This Means for the 2024 Race

Make no mistake: The Washington Post’s refusal to endorse Harris is a signal. It’s a signal that even the left-leaning media knows she’s in trouble. If they thought she had a real shot, they’d be backing her with full-throated endorsements like they did with Biden, Clinton, and Obama before him. But this time, they’re hedging their bets.

The Democrats are left trying to make sense of this mess. After all, if The Washington Post and The Los Angeles Times can’t even bring themselves to support Harris, why should the voters? It’s not exactly a confidence booster for undecided voters who might be thinking of going blue. In fact, it’s more likely to push them toward Trump, who at least has the support of his base and doesn’t need to beg for endorsements.

Final Thoughts: The Media’s Self-Inflicted Wounds

Once again, the mainstream media has managed to make itself the story. Instead of focusing on the issues or the candidates’ platforms, they’re busy explaining why they’re not endorsing anyone. It’s journalism at its worst—self-centered and completely out of touch with what voters actually care about.

Kamala’s campaign will likely try to spin this as a win, saying they’re not “beholden” to media endorsements. But let’s be real, folks: If she had The Washington Post’s endorsement, you can bet they’d be shouting it from the rooftops. Instead, they’re dealing with a newspaper that’s distancing itself from her campaign like it’s toxic.

And for the voters watching this unfold, the message is clear: Even the media that once loved Kamala Harris is backing away. If you ever needed proof that her campaign is floundering, this is it.

Take her down! She was unqualified as a VP and would be tons worse as a president. If it wasn’t for total abortion as a basis she wouldn’t even have the woman vote. As if common sense wouldn’t tell you not to vote for someone just because of a single issue instead of the big picture of what u need as the president of the best country in the world . Shame on you women who can’t use birth control!!
