Pete Hegseth Confirmed as Secretary of Defense – But Not Without GOP Betrayal

Folks, it’s happened. Pete Hegseth has been confirmed as Secretary of Defense after a nail-biting Senate vote, with Vice President JD Vance stepping in to break the 50-50 tie. But let’s talk about the real story here – the three so-called Republicans who decided to stab their party in the back: Mitch McConnell, Lisa Murkowski, and Susan Collins. These three clowns couldn’t even muster enough spine to stand with their own party and support a qualified, tough-as-nails patriot like Hegseth.

This should have been a slam dunk, but thanks to these turncoats, it came down to the wire. The Democrats were always going to vote against Hegseth—no surprises there—but when you have Republicans who can’t stay unified on something as crucial as national defense, you have to ask yourself: What are they even doing in the GOP?

McConnell – The RINO-In-Chief

Let’s focus on the king of GOP betrayal, Mitch McConnell. This guy has been a thorn in the side of conservatives for years, but his vote against Hegseth takes the cake. McConnell released a statement whining about “warrior culture” and warning against “culture warriors,” as if standing up for our military values is some kind of radical agenda. It’s pathetic. The man is more concerned about his standing with the D.C. cocktail circuit than he is about America’s national security.

And let’s not forget, this is the same Mitch McConnell who rolled over and played dead for the Biden administration time and time again. He’s become the GOP’s weakest link, and it’s time for Kentucky voters to do us all a favor and show him the door in the next primary.

The Murkowski-Collins Disaster Duo

Then we have Lisa Murkowski and Susan Collins, two senators who somehow still have an “R” next to their names despite consistently voting like Democrats. Murkowski cited “allegations” against Hegseth—allegations that have been repeatedly debunked. Collins, of course, followed suit with her usual pearl-clutching routine. These two wouldn’t recognize a backbone if it smacked them in the face. If the Republican Party ever hopes to move forward with an actual conservative agenda, these two need to go.

Why Hegseth is the Right Man for the Job

Despite the political circus, Pete Hegseth is now in charge at the Pentagon, and that’s a huge win for America. He’s vowed to clean out the woke nonsense that has infiltrated our military and bring back a focus on strength, discipline, and winning wars—not pronouns and safe spaces. The Pentagon is the largest government agency, and it needs someone who isn’t afraid to shake things up. Hegseth has the guts to do it.

But let’s be clear—this victory didn’t come easy. The left threw everything they had at him: accusations of misconduct, financial impropriety, and even his personal life. He stood firm, denied the bogus claims, and came out victorious. Now, it’s time to get to work.

Final Thoughts

The GOP has a serious problem, and it’s not the Democrats—it’s the spineless RINOs who refuse to stand together. McConnell, Murkowski, and Collins need to be primaried and replaced with conservatives who actually represent the values of the voters who put them in office.

In the meantime, let’s celebrate Hegseth’s confirmation and look forward to a stronger, more focused Department of Defense.

Congratulations Pete.  Steadfastandloyal salutes your victory!!

With the two “dem-wit” turncoats of Murkowski, and Collins, this is to be expected. With McConnell, the Republicans better keep a damn close eye on this pos. He is the king of establishment DC sellouts and with him not running for reelection knowing he would lose, he will try to inflict as much misery and aggravation to Trump’s agenda since he despises the President. All we can hope for is that McConnell somehow has to drop out early. He will be NO help to the conservative movement, and he needs to go.

Big win for the people. The three who voted against are known democrats, not republican and definitely not conservative. There day will come. Maybe be these other republicans will pull together for the Trump agenda for the American people. Holding my breath.

The RINOs aren’t the only problem! I am so sick of EVERY Democrat voting as one, Come on, everything the party says can not possible resonate in EVERY district. How about Democrats too voting to actually represent ALL their constituents instead of the party!

I hope the voters in Alaska and Kentucky realize their Senators voted against their will.
In 2024, PRESIDENT Trump won Alaska by 54%. PRESIDENT Trump won Kentucky by 64%. Translates to the majority of the states’ voters support PRESIDENT Trump’s agenda, yet, both their sleezebag, RINO Senators voted against PRESIDENT Trump’s agenda last night by voting against Hegseth.
Alaska and Kentucky – RECALL YOUR SENATORS!!! They don’t work for you but against you.

Sorry I ever donated $$$ previously to McConnel KY reelection. Told RNSC that I would not donate to them again if they helped the other two Rinos in their future primaries.

This is the best way to get rid of RINOs.
Don’t let them “buy” any more elections.

Let’s hope that the next time the turtle slips & falls he does not get up! As for those two female Rinos, primary them for god’s sake!!!

I hope that the voters in Alaska, Kentucky and Maine realize that these RINOS are actually voting against them and America by trying to stop Trump’s MAGA agenda. They are putting their personal hatred of Trump ahead of doing what’s best for their constituents and America as a whole. Vote these old RINOS out of office!

I can’t understand how and why those two female POS keep getting re-elected. The people in Maine and Alaska must have their heads up their butts if can’t see that these two don’t have their best interest in mind. These two, along with McConnell, have gotta go, one way or another. I can’t understand their thinking of why they constantly want to be a thorn in the Republican side by voting against everything Republican. How can they even face the rest of our party when they constantly vote against us. Could it be maybe the democrats are involved with these two somehow. McConnell is just a lost cause. He’s about 1 foot in the grave and has been having mental problems at the podium where he just stops talking and stares into space. He needs to be retired and get young blood in there who will stand up for the Party that elected them. I think our Fearless Leader might be influential in making them see the error in their ways.

Note: Especially RINOS, politicians, bureaucrats, academicians, and most media folks, suggest most of you best do your research and educate yourselves on the details of envelopment operations for that is what Donald is bringing to American government at every level (see message below). At least dig your foxholes deeper and add overhead cover. Have a nice day. Soldier/Cop, Retired

OUR LAST HOPE, A TRUE BATTLE CAPTAIN!

America, we are once again on the path to make America great again. Why? Because over 75 million of us have re-elected the very first true ‘Battle Captain’ to ever serve as our President and Commander-in-Chief. Why do I say Donald Trump is our first true Battle Captain? Because, Donald Trump is the first president to regularly demonstrate that the ‘Seven C’s of Leadership’ are a part of his character. The ‘Seven C’s of Leadership’ listed in the order of their importance as determined in a 1980 survey of 1645 ground combat veterans are: CANDOR, COMPETENCE, COMMITMENT, CONSISTENCY, COURAGE, COMPASSION, and COURTESY.

As one of the army officers charged with finding a true Battle Captain among all those army officers serving this nation from the Revolutionary War through the Vietnam Conflict, I can testify that we only found one officer who made the grade of ‘Battle Captain’. And, he like Donald Trump was not a professional soldier. A year before the Battle of Gettysburg he was a college professor, yet most historians credit him for saving the Union Forces left flank and forcing General Lee to commit his forces to a frontal attack which failed. The Battle of Gettysburg is generally credited as the turning point of the Civil War and lead to the surrender of the Confederate Forces two years later.

Donald Trump has proven that he is indeed a Battle Captain. He has turned the attacks on our flanks and now I am confident he will succeed in an overwhelming envelopment of all the forces trying to destroy America. God bless and protect Donald Trump, and God Bless and protect America as we help Donald Trump make America great again. I leave you with one question. Are you willing to fight for America, your family, and/or yourself?

Neither Clinton, Bush Jr, D Cheny, Trump and Biden were willing to fight for America when their time came back in the 60’s. They were all to willing to accept deferments that were quite questionable, to say the least. I served three years, 66–69 in the U.S. Army. These five were nowhere to be found.
