SiriusXM host Megyn Kelly didn’t hold back on her show Thursday as she listed the biggest losers of the 2024 election. In a scathing segment, Kelly called out Hollywood celebrities and political pundits who had endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris and actively campaigned against President Donald Trump. According to Kelly, these individuals had not only failed to sway voters, but had also shown their true colors as out-of-touch elites.
Kelly started by calling Beyonce, Oprah Winfrey, and Taylor Swift “huge losers” of the election, stating, “If you want to talk to me about what it is you’re doing to your skin, I’m all in… but no one cares what you think about politics.” She continued to mock these celebrities and others like them, stating, “The young girls love you because you sing songs about men who break up with you, and they can all relate to that. No one gives two shits about your political opinion, so you should take it and stuff it.”
The SiriusXM host also took aim at Julia Roberts, who had endorsed Harris and appeared in one of her campaign ads. Kelly criticized Roberts for her past affair and for participating in an ad that portrayed Republicans as “unattractive, bumpkiny, backward losers.” She also called out George Clooney and his political allies at “Pod Save America” for contributing to President Joe Biden’s withdrawal from the race. Kelly stated, “You blew it. And only when it was too obvious to deny. Did you say anything? So you two are a big loser, sir. Hope your billions are keeping you happy today, bringing you comfort.”
But Kelly’s list wasn’t limited to celebrities. She also included the Lincoln Project, a PAC founded by ex-Republican political consultants with the aim of stopping Trump, as well as The Atlantic writer George Conway. In Kelly’s eyes, these individuals had failed in their efforts to defeat Trump and were now left to face the consequences.
Kelly’s message was clear: the elite, out-of-touch celebrities and pundits who had actively campaigned against Trump were the biggest losers of the 2024 election. Despite their best efforts, they had not been able to sway voters, and now they were left to grapple with Trump’s second term. It was a strong statement in support of Trump’s victory and a warning to those who underestimate his support.
