In a powerful display of righteous anger, a woman who was victimized by California’s radical gender ideology laws confronted the very lawmaker responsible for them, exposing the devastating real-world consequences of putting woke dogma ahead of women’s safety and common sense. Tish Hyman, who identifies as a lesbian, became the latest casualty of the left’s war on biology when she was kicked out of a Gold’s Gym for the “crime” of defending her right to privacy in a women’s locker room.
The horrifying incident began when Hyman, in a state of undress and vulnerability, turned around to find a biological male, dressed in “boy clothes” and lip gloss, staring at her. When she confronted the individual, the situation escalated dramatically. “This person told me he was a woman and demanded that I leave the women’s locker room. He said, “Straight women like dick, and they’re probably looking at me more than you,” Hyman recounted. In a stunning inversion of justice, the staff at Gold’s Gym informed Hyman that their hands were tied by California law and that they could not remove the man from the women’s facility. “I was naked, scared, and being yelled at. He called me a bitch in front of everyone,” she said.
Adding a layer of grotesque irony, the transgender individual at the center of this incident was later exposed by the New York Post as a convicted domestic aboster. The person now known as Alexis Black was formerly Kyle Grant Freeman, who in 2022 pleaded guilty to viciously beating his then-wife, Alexis Freeman, leaving her with a compound fractured jaw that required surgery. This is the individual that California law protects to verbally accost and intimidate a naked woman in a private space.
This week, Tish Hyman took her fight directly to the source, confronting far-left San Francisco-based State Senator Scott Wiener, a leading architect of these dangerous policies. Wiener, who has announced a bid for US Congress, is the author of legislation that designates California a ‘sanctuary state’ for children seeking so-called ‘gender-affirming’ surgery without parental consent. “I’m a black lesbian!” Hyman shouted as she demanded answers from the childless politician, whose bills have consistently prioritized the feelings of men over the safety of women and children.
Hyman directly challenged Wiener, asking, “What would you say to women who are seeking assurance that their safety will be protected from men, who by California law, can self-identify as women in women-only spaces. Sir please tell me.” In response, Wiener offered the same empty, ideological platitudes that created this crisis. “We want everyone to be safe and we also know that we have trans people, both men and women — who are men and women,” he stated, adding, “So trans women, are women.” Refusing to accept this erasure of reality, Tish Hyman repeatedly shouted that trans women are men and stormed out of the room, a powerful act of defiance against a political establishment that has abandoned women.
