Watch: Trump’s Tariffs Crush Wall Street—Working Class Cheers!

In a stunning panel discussion on Piers Morgan Uncensored, former Democrat-turned-populist champion Batya Ungar-Sargon dismantled the left’s economic hypocrisy and praised President Trump’s bold tariff program, which is already revitalizing America’s working class while leaving the liberal media and Wall Street elites seething. As the Biden-era policies of open borders and unchecked globalization crumble, Trump’s economic nationalism is proving to be the lifeline blue-collar Americans have been desperate for—and the establishment is terrified.

Ungar-Sargon, author of Second Class: How the Elites Betrayed America’s Working Men and Women, didn’t hold back, exposing how the same media that once ignored the devastation of deindustrialization is now clutching its pearls over Trump’s pro-worker policies. “We all agree that the deindustrialization of America led to the downward mobility of the American working class, deaths of despair, people working multiple jobs, and not being able to afford the American dream,” she said. “And yet when somebody has the courage to show up and say to Wall Street, ‘Screw you, I’m waging class warfare on behalf of the American working class’… suddenly everybody is sitting around going, ‘Oh no, the stock market!’”

The stock market dip—a temporary backlash from financial elites—pales in comparison to the real-world wins Trump’s tariffs have already secured. “We have already seen these tariffs work,” Ungar-Sargon declared. “The number of people crossing the Southern border is at zero. Fentanyl is at record lows. For the last 10 years, we have already seen $1.2 trillion in manufacturing invested in this country since January 21st.”

Meanwhile, the liberal media, which spent years gaslighting Americans about the border crisis and outsourcing, now feigns concern over “market instability”—code for Wall Street’s tantrum over losing its stranglehold on policy. Kari Lake, a fierce Trump ally on the panel, echoed Ungar-Sargon’s points, highlighting how the Biden-era failures have been swiftly reversed under Trump’s America First leadership.

The real story? The working class finally has a president who fights for them. While the media obsesses over elite panic, Trump’s policies are bringing jobs back, slashing illegal immigration, and crushing the fentanyl crisis—all while globalists scream. The American people aren’t fooled. They know who betrayed them (the left) and who’s delivering results (Trump).

Trump’s tariffs will bring ‘equity’ (remember that word?) to working class Americans. It will take a while, but like most things in life, you have to work at it before it gets better. Notice that the people crying the loudest are the Globalists and World Bank elites who have been benefiting from controlling the financial markets and trade policies. All Trump wants is equal treatment from those countries in fair trade agreements. Tit for tat. Buy American.
