Watch: ‘The View’ Co-Host Uses Shameless Comparison to Label J6: “Worst Day in American History”

“The View” co-host Sunny Hostin faced backlash Monday after invoking the Holocaust and World War II while labeling January 6, 2021, as one of the “worst days in American history.” Hostin argued that the country cannot move on from the Capitol riot and accused those who believe otherwise of losing their “moral clarity.”

During a segment on the show, Hostin stated, “When you think about the worst moments in American history, like World War II, things that happened like the Holocaust, chattel slavery, we need to never forget because [the] past becomes prologue if you forget.” This shocking comparison drew criticism from viewers and sparked a debate about the severity of the events on January 6th.

The co-host’s statement not only undermines the true horrors of the Holocaust and World War II but also attempts to equate them with the actions of a small group of individuals on January 6th. Hostin’s extreme rhetoric only serves to divide the country and further fuel the dangerous narrative that January 6th was a full-blown insurrection.

In reality, the Capitol riot pales in comparison to the atrocities of World War II and the systematic genocide of millions during the Holocaust. While the tragic death of Ashli Babbitt should not be downplayed, comparing it to the millions who lost their lives during these dark moments in history is not only offensive but also completely ludicrous.

Furthermore, the co-host’s claims that the country cannot move on from the events of January 6th only perpetuate the political division that has been plaguing the nation for years. Instead of promoting unity and healing, Hostin’s words serve to deepen the divide and further polarize the country.

It’s time for the liberal media, like “The View,” to stop sensationalizing and exploiting tragic events for their own agenda. Instead, they should focus on objective reporting and fostering constructive dialogue. The American people deserve better than inflammatory rhetoric and exaggerated claims.

If you take anything these hags on The View say seriously then maybe you have some mental issues just as they do. The View is a daytime liberal reality show, it is NOT to be taken literally as a news source unless you are the neighborhood smelly cat woman without a life.

Sunny Hostin really showed not only her total ingnorance on information about January 6 but also her comments on Holocaust and WWII. There is absolutely no comparison! I do not watch this show but see the news on my aol that produces this information. The VIEW is Democrat / Leftist – this we know for sure and certain from their insolence, lack of knowledge, lack of common sense and plain unadulterated stupidity. The American people are all aware of this and those who choose to watch such ignorance are as bad off as the crew on the VIEW. This is almost the last of the Leftist Leftovers and cannot wait to see them all fall.

This is ideology not ignorance. You can suspect her intellect but she is a lawyer and probably a DEI lawyer. Hopefully the view will suffer the same way cnn and msmbc and the democrats party is right now, losing members and viewers. No way this junk can continue to exist.

I was going to post something awful about the awful people on the View but, after reading the posts above, everything that needs to be said has been said.

Their opinion is no better than yours or mine. We don’t watch. Better things to do with our time as it is limited.

Someone I know claimed that Jan 6 was the worst day in American history. Ha! It was stupid, yes, and a few of those people needed to be punished; not to the extent they have been. And, regarding President Trump on that day … I wont use total quotation marks because it may not be 100% exact, but he said … I know you are going to the capital to let your voices be heard, and it will be “peaceful”. Anyone want to wager those were not his words … I could be an instant millionaire.
