Watch: Pro-Hamas Student ARRESTED in Shocking Citizenship Interview Sting

In a bold move underscoring the Trump administration’s unwavering commitment to national security, Department of Homeland Security (DHS) officials arrested Columbia University student and pro-Hamas agitator Mohsen Mahdawi during his citizenship interview in Vermont. Mahdawi, a permanent resident and co-founder of Columbia’s Palestinian Student Union, has been a vocal supporter of Hamas, a designated terrorist organization responsible for the brutal October 7 massacre in Israel. His arrest sends a clear message: the United States will not tolerate foreign nationals who align themselves with enemies of freedom and democracy.

Video footage of the arrest shows Mahdawi being led away in handcuffs by plainclothes officers, flashing a defiant double peace sign—a gesture that speaks volumes about his disregard for American laws and values. His lawyer, Luna Droubi, has predictably filed a temporary restraining order, painting Mahdawi as a victim rather than a provocateur who harassed Jewish students and promoted terrorist propaganda on campus. But the facts are clear: Mahdawi’s activism crossed the line from free speech into material support for terrorism, making him a prime candidate for deportation under a rarely used but critically important provision in immigration law that allows the removal of aliens who pose “serious adverse foreign policy consequences for the United States.”

While the liberal media and far-left politicians like Bernie Sanders and Becca Balint rush to defend Mahdawi, framing his arrest as an attack on due process, they ignore the real issue—America’s sovereignty and security. Sanders and Balint whined in a joint statement: “Mr. Mahdawi, a legal resident of the United States, must be afforded due process under the law and immediately released from detention.” But where was their outrage when Hamas slaughtered innocent Israelis, including Americans? The hypocrisy is staggering.

President Trump’s DHS is taking decisive action where the Biden administration failed, ensuring that those who side with terrorists face consequences. This arrest follows the recent ruling in Louisiana, where an immigration judge greenlit the deportation of another Columbia student, Mahmoud Khalil—though a New Jersey federal judge has temporarily blocked it, showcasing the left’s relentless efforts to undermine immigration enforcement.

WATCH

The contrast between Trump’s strong leadership and the left’s appeasement of radical elements could not be clearer. While liberals weep over the detention of a Hamas sympathizer, Trump’s policies prioritize the safety of American citizens. The message is simple: if you support terrorism, you have no place in this country.

Well, he will be leaving the United States but definitely will not be going to “palestine” since no such country exists on earth.
