The chaos unfolded after ICE agents conducted lawful raids on businesses employing illegal aliens—a necessary enforcement action that Newsom, in typical liberal fashion, condemned as an attack on his sanctuary state. Rather than supporting federal law enforcement, the Democrat governor chose to grandstand, taunting Homan with a juvenile challenge: “Tom, arrest me, let’s go, let’s just get it over with, tough guy.”
Newsom’s meltdown came after President Trump rightfully authorized 2,000 National Guard troops to assist overwhelmed local law enforcement in restoring order.
