She then took it a step further, claiming that Trump had given Elon Musk a “shadow presidency.” The irony is almost too much to handle. What really bothers Hostin and her colleagues isn’t Musk’s influence—it’s that he’s no longer censoring conservatives and has instead been exposing government corruption that benefits career politicians and their elite donor class.
