The liberal media and Democratic leaders have once again shown their true colors by downplaying the violent riots in Los Angeles, where anti-ICE protesters attacked federal agents, vandalized property, and set fires. Instead of condemning the lawlessness, prominent Democrats like Rep. Maxine Waters absurdly claimed there was “no violence,” despite clear footage of rioters hurling rocks at ICE vehicles and launching fireworks at police officers. This deliberate misinformation campaign exposes the left’s willingness to excuse anarchy when it aligns with their radical agenda.
Former Democratic strategist Dan Turrentine, appearing on The Morning Meeting, blasted his own party for its reckless response, stating, “I think the Democratic Party has kind of lost its mind. I think that you cannot tolerate that people are harming government property and harming federal officials executing the job that the president or the, you know, secretary of DHS or whomever has ordered them to do. Like, you just simply cannot do this.” Turrentine also accused California Governor Gavin Newsom and Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass of tacitly endorsing the riots due to their anti-ICE stance, saying, “I think one of the reasons Newsom and Bass at first didn’t really move is they didn’t really see a problem with it. Like, okay, there’s a little bit of violence, okay, but like this is okay because it’s in the name of what we believe.”
Meanwhile, President Donald Trump took decisive action by deploying the National Guard to restore order—a move that Newsom hypocritically condemned despite his own failure to protect citizens and law enforcement. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) called out Democratic leaders for inciting violence against ICE officers, with Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin stating, “Make no mistake, Democrat politicians like Hakeem Jeffries, Mayor Wu of Boston, Tim Walz, and Mayor Bass of Los Angeles are contributing to the surge in assaults of our ICE officers through their repeated vilification and demonization of ICE.”
The liberal media’s refusal to accurately report on the riots—while amplifying false narratives of “peaceful protests”—proves their complicity in the left’s lawlessness. President Trump’s swift response stands in stark contrast to the Democrats’ cowardice, proving once again that strong leadership is needed to uphold law and order.

So help me God.”

I am flabbergasted over the fact that certain protesters (ANTIFA no doubt) that are hurling chunks of concrete at officers and as we all know if one of those chunks hit an officer in the head good chance they can be killed, hit anywhere else and they could suffer disabling strikes so saying this these attackers are trying to kill an officer which means legally they can return with fatal shots killing the perp. Since it’s difficult for officers to see where the fatal rocks are deployed from I suggest staging snipers on roof top advantage point and when he spots a (peaceful protester) launching a concrete chunk he can pew pew …
