The Media’s Disgusting Response
When news broke about the attempt on Trump’s life, the media’s reaction was typical: downplay and deflect. CBS News and CNN led the charge in shifting focus away from the seriousness of the event. They couldn’t even bring themselves to condemn the attack clearly. Instead, they chose to bash Trump and his supporters.
A CBS reporter thought it was a great moment to lecture us on the dangers of rhetoric. Really? They’ve spent the last eight years calling Trump every vile name under the sun, but now they’re worried about incendiary language. The hypocrisy is staggering. One of Trump’s top advisors, Chris Lovita, pointed out that the system has been trying to take Trump down from the start. They’ve tried to keep him off the ballot, lock him up, and now this. But the media doesn’t care about that. They’re more interested in pushing their anti-Trump narrative.
Pelosi’s Hollow Words
Former Speaker Nancy Pelosi was quick to issue a statement. She talked about the political violence her family has experienced and expressed relief that Trump was safe. But let’s not forget, this is the same Pelosi who has contributed to the toxic political climate we’re in. Her words ring hollow when she’s spent years demonizing Trump and his supporters. It’s like the arsonist expressing shock at the fire they started.
The White House also made a statement. They’ve been briefed, they’re concerned, blah blah blah. But where was the outrage? Where was the strong condemnation of an attack on a former president? Nowhere to be found. Instead, they were more interested in maintaining their facade of concern while continuing their silent endorsement of anti-Trump hysteria.
The Left’s Hypocrisy
One of the most infuriating aspects of this whole ordeal is the blatant hypocrisy. Trump has always framed his battles as him against the system. He’s been vocal about the politically motivated legal cases against him. Now, with an attempt on his life, this narrative has only been strengthened. But the media wants us to believe that talking about being against the system is dangerous. They’ve been using this kind of rhetoric for decades, but now that they’re in power, it’s suddenly a problem.
CNN was particularly egregious. They criticized Trump for not immediately calling for unity after being shot. Can you believe that? The man was just targeted in an assassination attempt, and their concern is that he didn’t call for everyone to hold hands and sing Kumbaya. The leftist crazies on social media echoed this sentiment, showing just how deep the indoctrination goes. Trump’s defiance, with blood on his face as he left the stage, was a moment of strength. But of course, CNN couldn’t see it that way. They were too busy being outraged that he didn’t roll over and play the victim.
Margaret Brennan’s Pathetic Apology
CBS’s Margaret Brennan made a pathetic attempt at an apology. She claimed her comments weren’t meant to critique but were made out of concern for democracy. Give me a break. This is the same network that has spent years lying and gaslighting Americans, creating fear and division. Now, they want us to believe they’re concerned about democracy? Their so-called apology was just another attempt to cover their tracks while continuing to bash Trump and his supporters.
Brennan’s second attempt at an apology was even worse. She parroted the same lines about heightened threats and the importance of standing united. It was all for show. The media’s actions have consistently shown that they have no interest in unity or democracy. They’re only interested in pushing their leftist agenda and silencing anyone who disagrees.
Final Thoughts
The liberal media has once again proven that they are a danger to our country. Their response to the assassination attempt on Trump was disgraceful and showed just how deep their hatred runs. They couldn’t even bring themselves to unequivocally condemn the attack. Instead, they used it as another opportunity to bash Trump and push their narrative. This is why we must stay vigilant and hold them accountable. They can’t be allowed to continue spreading their lies and hatred unchecked.

What happened to the “loyal opposition” in our national politics? The country is poorer for the loss and the MSM has lost most of the credibility they ever had as an apolitical reporter of the news.
