Kamala’s Brilliant Idea: Let’s Just Snatch Patents and Call It Fair

Kamala Harris’s Shocking Plan: Snatching Patents and Pushing Socialism?

Kamala Harris has always had a way with words, but it’s her actions and past statements that reveal her true intentions. As she rolls out her flimsy economic plan for 2024, it’s vital that we take a hard look at what she’s said before, especially when she’s not standing behind a podium with a script spewing nothing but happy platitudes. One resurfaced clip from her 2019 presidential campaign is particularly alarming. In this video, Harris proudly declares that she would “snatch” patents from pharmaceutical companies if they don’t comply with her rules on drug pricing. Yes, you read that right—snatch patents. It’s a statement so shocking, it screams socialism, or dare we say, communism.

Snatching Patents—A Dictatorial Move?

The 2019 video shows Kamala Harris at a campaign event in Iowa, where she brazenly laid out her plan for controlling drug prices in America. Her idea? The government would set what she calls a “fair market” price for drugs, based on the average cost of these drugs worldwide. And if any company dares to defy her dictates, Harris promised to strip them of their patents, particularly if the drugs were developed using federal funding.

She stated, “For any drug where they fail to play by our rules, and if that drug came about from federal funding for what’s called ‘R&D,’ research and development, I will snatch their patent so that we will take over.” She even doubled down, declaring, “Yes we can do that! The question is, do you have the will to do it?” Harris made it clear that she, indeed, has the will to carry out this dictatorial plan.

The outrage over this statement is well-deserved. Conservatives, free-market supporters, and anyone who values American innovation should be horrified. This isn’t just a bad idea—it’s dangerous. Taking patents away from companies because they don’t bend to the government’s will is a move straight out of a socialist playbook. It’s the kind of policy you’d expect from a communist regime, not the United States of America.

The Real Kamala Harris: A Threat to Our Democracy?

Harris’s willingness to seize patents is a window into her true beliefs. This isn’t a one-off slip of the tongue—it’s a core part of how she views government’s role in society. Her approach is nothing short of authoritarian. And the worst part? She’s proud of it. She doesn’t see anything wrong with using government power to crush the private sector when it doesn’t align with her vision.  It’s no mystery why she was the first to drop out of the race in 2020 and received zero votes.

Critics were quick to pounce on this resurfaced video, and rightly so. Filmmaker Eric Abbenante and others on social media were quick to label her a “dictator” and a “wannabe tyrant.” Texas Governor Greg Abbott called it “crazy.” Even actress Patricia Heaton, known for her sharp commentary, couldn’t hold back, calling out Harris’s frighteningly radical ideas.

It’s not just conservatives who should be worried. Anyone who values the freedom to innovate, the freedom to succeed or fail on your own merits, should be terrified of what Harris represents. Her plan to snatch patents is a direct assault on the very principles that have made America great—capitalism, free enterprise, and individual liberty.

Kamala’s So-Called Economic Plan: More Socialism?

Kamala Harris recently rolled out her economic plan for 2024, but let’s be honest—it’s as thin as it is concerning. There’s nothing new or revolutionary about it. In fact, it’s just more of the same socialist rhetoric we’ve heard from her before. Her plan is based on the flawed idea that the government knows best, that bureaucrats in Washington should decide what’s “fair” for everyone else.

But here’s the kicker: Harris isn’t allowed to speak to the press without a script. That’s right—her handlers know better than to let her speak off the cuff because when she does, the mask slips, and we see the real Kamala Harris along with her word salad. The one who believes in snatching patents, the one who’s comfortable with using government power to bully private businesses into submission.

And let’s not forget, this is the same Kamala Harris who, during her time as Attorney General of California, took on the drug companies and won. She’s proud of it, and she should be—except that victory seems to have only emboldened her to take things even further. Now, as a presidential candidate, she’s not just fighting drug companies; she’s threatening to dismantle the very system that makes drug innovation possible.

Final Thoughts

Kamala Harris’s resurfaced 2019 clip isn’t just a glimpse into her past—it’s a warning about our future. If she’s willing to snatch patents and impose government control over drug prices, what else is she willing to do? Her economic plan, thin as it is, only reinforces the fact that she’s a threat to our free-market economy. We can’t afford to let someone with such dangerous, socialist ideas anywhere near the White House.

It’s time to take a stand. We need to defeat Kamala Harris soundly in November, and we need to do it for the sake of our country’s future. The stakes couldn’t be higher. We must protect our freedoms, our economy, and our way of life from her radical agenda.

That’s a taking under our constitution, but drug companies should repay taxpayers somehow for the government funds they have utilized for their profit. Lower prices for seniors would be a positive move. Also move manufacturing to US out of China for US jobs.

The last two paragraphs sum it up rather well. Harris is willing to resort to government theft of private property to get her own way. She would be a disastrous choice for President. But her choice of Tim Walz will not gain her favor or support among republican voters. And it will be to her discredit with many independents. She may even lose the support of some of the more moderate (if there are any left) democrat voters. If any one could be a worse VP than Harris, it is Tim Walz!

I agree that the government should never be able to steal a patent but once that patent has run its course the drug companies should not be able to extend it (Eliquis) to keep the price up.

Kameltoe isn’t the only idiot. Whoever wrote this article isn’t far behind her. This nation is NOT A DEMOCRACY! Try reading the Constitution!

There was a time when it was illegal to be in a government position if you were muslime, communist, etc. But now, haters of the Constitution and American are welcomed with open arms. Until we reestablish who our enemies are, and get them out of every position of authority an influence, we as a nation will continue to rot away!

Kamel-A should be informed that some people who own patents on insecticide and herbicides also own patents on chemical weapons…
