Not just blatant pandering, but rank hypocrisy, since Commiela, as a drug user herself when DA and AG had thousands of Black men sentenced to prison, not to deter crime, but to make a political name for herself.

Forty years in a work force, that was 60% black, brought me friends and in-laws, with working class, American values — Family, neighborhood, education, community safety, church associations. She can’t buy black Americans by legalizing drugs for them ! She thinks they are criminals. She sounds like a southern, white racist, from the 1950’s.
Instead of jobs, community safety, schools, and American opportunity, She thinks black people want pot, and fired chicken, and watermelon, and handouts. What, no Jim Crow poster ?
