Once again, Kamala Harris showed just how unfit she is for higher office in a softball interview with MSNBC’s Stephanie Ruhle. And let’s be real here—Ruhle is a Kamala cheerleader, not an interviewer. The questions weren’t tough, but Harris struggled, repeating the same tired talking points and buzzwords she’s clung to since her disastrous debate performances. If this is the best the Biden-Harris team has to offer, we’re in trouble.
Recycled Talking Points and Empty Promises
When asked about her so-called “economic vision,” Kamala gave us the same old rehearsed lines. She started with her favorite trio: “dreams, aspirations, and ambitions.” Sound familiar? That’s because it’s straight out of her debate prep playbook. She throws these words around as if they’re supposed to mean something profound, but in reality, they’re just empty filler. Who’s not for dreams and aspirations?
It’s almost laughable how often she resorts to this phrase, especially when she’s clearly out of her depth. Instead of offering a substantive economic plan, she gives us vague ideas wrapped in pretty-sounding phrases. She wants to create an “opportunity economy,” but she fails to explain how. It’s more of the same from a politician who excels at one thing: avoiding real answers.
Corporate Taxes: A One-Note Tune
Harris also couldn’t resist bringing up her favorite boogeyman: the evil billionaires and corporations. According to her, the solution to every problem is making the rich “pay their fair share.” We’ve heard this line so many times, and frankly, it’s getting old. It’s like she doesn’t know how to say anything else.
Even worse, when asked what she would do if she couldn’t raise corporate taxes, she danced around the question. It’s clear she doesn’t have a backup plan if Republicans take control of the Senate. Instead, she doubled down, saying she’d still try to raise taxes on corporations. How original.
What’s ironic is that Harris fails to understand the most basic economic principle: corporations don’t pay taxes—they pass them on. Higher corporate taxes mean higher prices for the rest of us. But does she care? Of course not. She’s too busy demonizing the very people who create jobs in this country.
“Holistic” Plans: The New Word Salad
One thing stood out in this train wreck of an interview: Kamala’s new favorite word—holistic. That’s right, folks, she’s added a new buzzword to her arsenal of nonsense. When talking about affordable housing, she repeatedly said we need to look at things “holistically.” But what does that even mean?
It’s just another way for her to avoid giving real answers. Instead of explaining how she plans to fix the housing crisis, she hides behind vague words like “holistic” to make it sound like she’s being thoughtful and comprehensive. In reality, she’s just throwing out jargon in hopes that no one notices she has no real plan.
Let’s face it, this is Kamala’s signature move—distract and deflect with fancy-sounding words that mean nothing. Remember when she was trying to explain the border crisis? She couldn’t even define the word “secure,” and now we’re supposed to trust her to solve housing and economic issues? Give me a break.
Union Support: Kamala Fumbles Again
Even when asked about union support, Kamala struggled. The Teamsters, one of the largest and most powerful unions in the country, decided not to endorse her. Why? Because they see through her empty promises. When asked why they passed on her, she dodged and pivoted to generic statements about supporting workers and unions.
But here’s the truth: Kamala Harris doesn’t care about workers. She cares about optics and pandering. That’s why she couldn’t give a straight answer. She’s losing support where it matters, and it’s becoming more obvious by the day.
Tariffs and Economic Delusion
Ruhle attempted to help Kamala by talking about tariffs, but even then, the Vice President stumbled. Harris has been critical of Trump’s tariffs, but when asked about Biden’s own tariffs, she had no real defense. She didn’t even try to explain how tariffs under Biden are any different from Trump’s.
What’s clear is that Kamala Harris doesn’t understand economic policy. She’s happy to criticize the previous administration, but when it comes to defending her own policies, she falls flat. The American people deserve better than this weak, confused leadership.
Immigration: More Empty Words
When it comes to immigration, Kamala delivered more of the same: empty words and no solutions. She admitted that we have a “broken immigration system” but offered no concrete plan to fix it. Instead, she talked about the need for a “comprehensive plan” and creating “pathways to citizenship.” Sound familiar?
Kamala Harris has been in charge of immigration for years now, and what has she done? Absolutely nothing. She’s failed to secure the border, failed to stop the flood of illegal immigrants, and now she’s pretending she has a plan. It’s a joke, and the American people aren’t buying it.
Trust Issues: Can We Trust Kamala?
At the end of the interview, Ruhle lobbed a softball question: “Can we trust you?” Kamala’s answer was an emphatic “Yes,” but let’s be honest—can we? After years of empty promises, flip-flopping on key issues, and delivering word salads in place of real answers, the American people have every reason to doubt her.
This interview was a perfect example of why Kamala Harris is not fit to lead. Even with the help of a friendly interviewer like Ruhle, she couldn’t give straight answers. She relies on memorized talking points and buzzwords, hoping no one notices she has no real solutions.
Final Thoughts
Kamala Harris had the opportunity to present a real, substantive vision for the future. Instead, she gave us more of the same: empty words, vague promises, and buzzwords like “holistic” that don’t mean anything. She’s proven time and time again that she’s out of her depth, and this interview was just the latest example.
If she can’t handle a friendly interview with a surrogate like Stephanie Ruhle, how can we trust her to handle the real challenges facing this country? The American people deserve better than this. We deserve real leadership, not word salads and empty promises.

JIMMY
Economic opportunity? This is utter nonsense!
Kamala Harris has been on board with the Biden/Harris presidency and none of the things she’s discussing now are what she’s been doing for the last four years. This contrast with what she’s been doing versus what she’s now proposing is simply campaign rhetoric.
Many people don’t like Donald Trump personally but everybody has benefited from his policies. Just compare what it was like four years ago and compare it to what Biden/Harris have done and ask yourself are you better off now than you were four years ago? Plus, Trump did everything that he campaigned on and Harris did things that were opposite of her campaign rhetoric now. Vote on policies, not the individuals!
Don’t be fooled America. Especially women are going to vote because she is a women who is also partially black. She is telling you what she thinks you want to hear. She is lying thru her teeth. She is still the incompetent person she has been for over 3 years in the WH. She is still the radical leftist she has always been. She will IF she wins, go back to all those radical ways like NO Fracking, Medicare for all, defund the police and ICE. Raise taxes, the phony green new deal, the whole idea of her in the WH is total DISASTER FOR AMERICANS. This administration has already destroyed America as we know it and letting the invasion of illegals from all over the world, putting Citizens in danger daily with lethal drugs and illegal criminals raping, murdering, robbing and taking peoples homes away from them. She is NOT COMPETENT FOR THE JOB pure and simple. America cannot afford to have her in the WH it will be the end of America
Exactly, Wake up Americans and listen to what she says without her handlers or teleprompter
!
To vote for someone just because he/she is a particular race (or another), a particular gender (or the other) is a pretty shallow means of decision making. Never have I voted for someone because he/she is a man, or a woman, or black, white or another color. I prefer to understand what their campaign rhetoric suggests that person might do, and then become as informed as I can become before voting.
Finally an article that points out that corporations pass on taxes to consumers. What was left out is those price hikes (higher corporate taxes) hurt the poor the most.
Two big ding dongs feeding off each other.
Nothing but mumbo jumbo, touchy feely, bull crap from Kamala.
I agree with what you said and I’d like to look at the history of those who worked for her in the WH and how there was continual chaos, and some said she only was good at dictating to them and causing a very unpleasant work environment. Is that what we want to see also. One that is bubbly on the outside and a different person inside. Trump turned me off with his tooting but I sure saw what was on the inside and one that was in the work force many years know my bosses who tooted like Trump also awarded and help us grow and be responsible as they worked with us to become better people.
Thanks for the comment Bonnie – Kamala is known for being a tyrant and creating a hostile work environment. A very high percentage of her employees leave disgruntled and we always hear how lazy she is. As for Trump, he is many things and I also agree with your “Tooting” comment. My wife worked for Trump for years in the Casino industry in AC. She always says that while he’s not the paragon of virtue, nor does he articulate himself well – he’s a builder from Queens – he is a genuine person who is actually very generous and loyal to his good employees. He’s also has a work ethic 2nd to none. But, if you’re not performing, you’re out!
I want to swipe Stephanie Rhule’s smile off her face. She smiled at everything that spewed from Harris’ mouth, regardless how nonsensical it was.
