Hollywood’s New Low: Julia Roberts Encourages Lying in Kamala Harris Ad

Well, folks, Hollywood has done it again, and this time it’s Julia Roberts’ turn to tell us how to vote—or rather, how to keep secrets in our marriages. If there were ever a more desperate attempt to sway a few votes for Kamala Harris, this might be it. This ad doesn’t just stop at suggesting how to vote; it goes a step further and encourages women to keep it all a secret from their husbands. Yes, you read that right: apparently, the new strategy is to create a wedge in households by fostering secrecy, all in the name of “empowerment.”

The Hollywood Script for a Failing Marriage

The idea seems simple enough: Roberts’ voice cheerfully reminds women they can vote however they want in the booth and that “what happens in the booth stays in the booth.” In other words, lie to your husband if you must! It’s downright insulting to imply that women need a “secret” voting plan if they want to support Kamala. And who is this ad targeting, anyway? Clearly, they’re aiming for the “Karens” out there, those they think might be living in constant fear of disapproval.

Imagine this scenario: you’re married, and your spouse has no idea you’re secretly rooting for the other side. This isn’t about politics anymore; it’s about Hollywood’s absurd fantasy of empowerment through deception. Encouraging people to bring deceit into their own households? It’s mind-bogglingly tone-deaf.

Desperation Is Written All Over This Ad

Let’s be clear here: if a relationship can’t handle a political difference, that’s a problem far bigger than a voting booth. This ad acts like it’s speaking to women everywhere, but the real message is, “If you’re afraid to be honest with your spouse, sneak around and keep secrets.” That’s supposed to be empowering?

Vote Common Good, the Christian-backed organization behind this ad, claims they’re trying to relieve the “pressure” on women who feel forced to vote a certain way by their husbands. Doug Pagitt, the executive director, insists this is an issue plaguing women, particularly in religious communities. According to him, these women feel so much pressure that they’re now hiding their votes.

But honestly, if a relationship is so fragile that it can’t survive a difference of opinion on Election Day, the problem isn’t who’s running for office; it’s the relationship itself. What’s worse is that this ad paints a ridiculous picture of marriages as political pressure cookers, rather than partnerships based on trust.

The Karen Target Audience: A Hollywood Fantasy

This isn’t a subtle ad. It’s targeted, plain and simple, at a specific audience: the Hollywood-stereotyped “Karen.” It’s as if they’re envisioning a group of women who, according to Hollywood’s fantasy, need to hide their opinions from their families because they can’t think for themselves without creating some kind of household uprising.

Does Roberts and her Hollywood crew really think that a secret vote in the booth is the magic bullet to save these poor, oppressed women from their “controlling” spouses? It’s insulting, plain and simple. This is a low-level attempt to portray traditional relationships as oppressive and out of touch, a notion that reeks of Hollywood’s out-of-touch elitism.

Polls Show a Clear Gender Divide, but This Is Not the Solution

Recent polling numbers reveal a gender divide: Kamala Harris has a lead among women, while men tend to favor Trump. That much is clear. But if this ad is trying to bridge that gap by encouraging deceit, it’s a swing and a miss. Polling data shows that Harris has gained support in religious and non-religious communities, but that’s hardly the point here.

This isn’t about empowering women; it’s about driving a wedge into families under the guise of “freedom to choose.” If Vote Common Good and Roberts really cared about empowering women, they’d encourage honesty and open dialogue, not secrets and subterfuge.

Hollywood’s Fantasy vs. Reality: Why This Ad Falls Flat

It’s sad, really, that this ad assumes women have to lie to vote the way they want. This isn’t just an insult to relationships; it’s an insult to women, who are more than capable of making up their own minds without turning their vote into a secret mission. Julia Roberts and her Hollywood friends are completely missing the mark here, creating a fantasy where voting requires deception.

And as if this ad wasn’t cringeworthy enough, we’ve got a new ad featuring George Clooney set to target male voters. Apparently, Hollywood is doubling down on this strategy, trying to turn voting into a covert operation. What’s next? An ad with secret handshakes for couples so they can decode each other’s votes?

Final Thoughts

If this is the best Hollywood has to offer, then we’ve reached peak absurdity. The notion that women need to “hide” their votes to feel liberated is not only insulting but downright pathetic. Roberts and her Hollywood buddies should stick to making movies and leave real relationships out of their political games.

I have said it many times before. Actors and Actresses have a mental problem that makes them want to appear to be somebody they are not. When one mental problem is apparent you can be shure that there are more issues that are not. Just like J. R. just revealed.

The gender divide in this election is not good news because women tend to vote at higher rates than men. So men get out and vote and vote Trump.

So black people are so stupid that they are unable to get an ID to vote and women are too scared of their husbands to vote for the candidate they prefer and men will not for for women because they are misogynistic. The left in a nutshell.

Well the media and leftist lunatics are living in a twilight zone of hate and divide. Kamala supposedly says shes for unity, like Biden. What a laugh. Kamala is all,of a sudden talking of God too, thats a bigger laugh. Shes a Marxist or so she has admitted and they do not believe in unity or God. They like divide because when people cant get along, they are easily divided and persuaded and very easy/ willing for deceit and will do whatever they you are programmed to do, I mean told to do.
Julia Roberts was once loved but has shown her real side of her character by her marriage troubles and last movie. JR is another washed up hasbeen loudmouth of hollycrook like DeNiro.

IF YOU DIDN’T ALREADY, NOW YOU KNOW AT LEAST ONE OF THE CONSEQUENCES OF WOMEN’S SUFFRAGE!*

“…If the Constitutional Republic’s exclusive male vote wasn’t bad enough, the women’s vote presents an entirely new set of problems.1 Yahweh2 intends husbands and wives to be one in all areas. Because men generally vote with their heads and women with their hearts, the result is often politically split homes. In Matthew 12:25, Jesus3 warned that such homes will not stand….

“Because women tend to vote with their hearts, Amendment 19 has contributed to America becoming much more liberal than it was before 1920. For example, women tend to vote against capital punishment and for gun control:

‘Women do consistently vote in a more liberal direction than men, but the differences have decreased over time and are negligible among Northern Democrats.’12

“Women are not voting more like men; men are voting more like women – shades of Jeremiah 44. Yahweh’s system of appointment eliminates all liberal votes. It does not allow for liberals or, for that matter, even conservatives, but only for Biblically qualified men. (See Chapter Five “Article 2: Executive Usurpation” for a list of Biblical qualifications for leaders.) Amendment 19 conflicts with Yahweh’s patriarchal system. He does not permit women to serve in positions of leadership over men, except as a curse or judgment against men who are no longer mighty in the Lord [see Isaiah 3:12, etc]…. ”

This should be interpreted to mean that voting by men is biblical. It’s not.**

It is sad to me that Julia Roberts is stooping so low…I thought more of her………one can vote for whomever they wish…..but to stoop this low and tell someone to lie to their spouses is “lower than pond scum”……….
And what kind of Christian condones this???? this Doug Pagitt, director at Vote Common Good……a Christian based organization….. is going against all things Godly…….
and if there is a family that is “forcing” either spouse to do something they differ with…..unless it was so severe it was going to harm them physically……A “Christian Organization”. should be helping this couple and not adding to their problems…….and then to lie to their spouse about it……rather than having a discussion with their spouse, is not helping…
And when do we listen to those in Hollywood, or NFL, or NBA, or anyone in an entertainment role to make our decisions…??? Our decisions on matters as important as “who will be the best to run this country…for the economy, international presence, military, our border that is so out of whack right now…….and so many other issues…. should be thought out so carefully , especially after this last many years of corruption and riots and destruction and invasions and the billions of dollars going to other countries when our own country is suffering and the people are feeling it in every way………
This party is so desperate…….. Kamala is inept and thoroughly not qualified to run a country……..she couldn’t even do her jobs in California…….. if it wasn’t for the illegals being allowed to vote in California… Harris, Gascone, Newsom, Shiff, Pelosi, and many more , they would be long gone………..
    Desperation is a sad thing!!!!!

I love it when an actor or actress crosses the line from beloved actor to political model. It means that I can now say I will VOTE WITH MY MONEY, meaning I will NEVER watch a Julia Robert film again.
It is no wonder that she had so many break ups, and no wonder that she and her husband are said to be on the rocks. The thing about lying is that no one can hide the lie about who they are. No man who is a conservative ill choose a liberal spouse, and vise verse.
The biggest lie she gave is the lie that Conservatives attempt to enslave and control their wives up to and eve in their vote! From my perspective, this is the way that LIBERALS operate, by using social force. Ergo this entire article exists because SHE would force others to vote as she does and make them believe that their own husband was not trustworthy. Well Julia, maybe yours isn’t!

I think the real message here is is that women that are married to Republican men vote conservative out of fear of their husbands. How many times has Julia Robertson married in divorced? Gee I wonder why?

Hollywood celebrities: thinking we care what thy think and pushing the Marxist fantasy of oppressor vs oppressed. Not only is Julia Roberts one of the richest women in the United States, but also owns FIVE homes across the country. Living proof there’s no such thing as a “gender wage gap.”
