Just to clarify — I’m not saying the military is “non-essential.” I’m actually making the opposite point: our troops are considered essential, which means they have to keep working without pay during a shutdown, while Congress still collects their checks. The “non-essential” part in the article was aimed at furloughed bureaucrats, not the men and women in uniform. My point was how unfair this setup is to the military.
I suspect the Chuckie pees his skivvies every time AOC walks by because he is SO afraid that if he doesn’t cater to the FAR left, he will lose his seat to the radicals! But he needs to be put out to pasture anyway! The irony here is that all the morons in congress will keep being paid while our military will end up being “short sheeted”! That’s just WRONG! The clowns causing the problems should be the first to lose paychecks! And the $1.5 trillion the dems are trying to hold republicans hostage for is ludicrous and ridiculous!
