WNBA’s DiJonai Carrington: Flaunts Her “F-Trump” Hoodie

The WNBA is back at it again—not with great basketball, mind you, but with another woke meltdown from one of its players.

This time, it’s DiJonai Carrington, a Connecticut Sun player who seems more interested in political stunts than perfecting her jump shot. Instead of making headlines for her performance on the court, she’s making waves for walking into an arena in Miami wearing a sweatshirt that read “The F— Donald Trump Tour.”

Ah yes, nothing says strong, independent athlete like throwing a temper tantrum over the one guy who actually made life better for women in America.

A History of Poor Sportsmanship

If Carrington’s name sounds familiar, it’s because she already made headlines for the wrong reasons.

Back in September 2024, during a WNBA playoff game, she poked rookie sensation Caitlin Clark in the eye, leaving Clark with a nasty black eye. Fans were outraged—and for good reason. Video evidence showed Carrington laughing about it afterward with teammate Marina Mabrey.

An accident? Please.

Even Riley Gaines, former NCAA swimmer and conservative firebrand, wasn’t buying it. She called out Carrington, sarcastically posting:

“So, you’re telling me the same girl who deliberately gouged Caitlin Clark in the eye then laughed about it also wore a hoodie that said, ‘The F— Donald Trump Tour’?! I’m shocked.”

You and me both, Riley.

Trump Derangement Syndrome Strikes Again

Carrington’s anti-Trump meltdown fits right into the WNBA’s long-standing tradition of being more interested in left-wing activism than basketball.

But here’s the real question: What exactly did Trump do to ruin her life?

Did he:

  • Lower unemployment for women to record levels? Yep.
  • Appoint the first openly gay cabinet member? Sure did.
  • Help businesses (including sports leagues) thrive with tax cuts? You bet.

So, what’s the problem?

Riley Gaines asked the same thing, replying to a photo of Carrington’s anti-Trump sweatshirt with:

“What has Donald Trump done to make your life worse? Keep LeBron off the court.”

Nailed it.

Attacking Caitlin Clark and Her Fans

But Carrington’s anti-Trump nonsense isn’t her only issue—she’s been going after Caitlin Clark and her fanbase for months.

She’s called Clark’s fans the ‘nastiest’ in the league and even accused the rookie star of being complicit in racism just because some of her supporters happen to be conservative.

This is what modern leftist activism looks likelabel your opponents as racist, demand outrage, and play the victim.

Oh, and in case you thought this was all just about a one-time mistake, Carrington later mocked the eye-poking incident on Instagram Live. In the video, she was playing around with her girlfriend NaLyssa Smith, who also plays for the Indiana Fever, and pretended to get poked in the eye again—all while laughing about it.

If the WNBA wants to be taken seriously, maybe start by taking sportsmanship seriously.

Jemele Hill Joins the Circus

Of course, no woke controversy is complete without Jemele Hill jumping in.

The far-left “journalist” decided to attack Riley Gaines—because how dare a conservative woman have an opinion?

Hill accused Clark of benefiting from “white privilege” in the WNBA, a claim that Gaines immediately destroyed:

“‘White privilege’ in the WNBA is literally hilarious. Maybe you’re like Sunny Hostin & think CC also has tall privilege, pretty privilege, and straight privilege.”

Absolutely savage.

Hill wasn’t done, though. She later mocked Gaines for making a name for herself by speaking out against transgender swimmer Lia Thomas.

To which Gaines responded:

“How deeply regressive & utterly misogynistic for Jemele Hill to tell me to thank a man for the platform I have. Thank him for what? Violating us in the locker room? Stealing a national title from a deserving woman?”

Game. Set. Match.

Final Thoughts

DiJonai Carrington is yet another far-left athlete who can’t resist injecting politics into sports. She doesn’t actually understand Trump’s policies, but that won’t stop her from parroting the usual talking points.

Instead of focusing on basketball, she’s out here trashing half the country, laughing about injuring an actual rising star in the sport, and demanding outrage over made-up grievances.

Meanwhile, Riley Gaines is one of the few voices in sports actually willing to stand up to this nonsense, and it’s no surprise she’s drawing more admiration than most of the WNBA combined.

At some point, the WNBA needs to decide:

  • Do they want to be a legitimate sports league?
  • Or do they want to be an activist circus where players are more focused on Twitter fights than trophies?

Because at this rate, the only thing declining faster than their credibility is their viewership.

Coming from someone that participates in the most ignored sport in America, her opinion and hoodie mean about as much as one of her games being on television with the .003 viewership.
