The hypocrisy of the liberal media and the two-tiered justice system in America has never been more glaring than in the aftermath of today’s leftist invasion of the U.S. Capitol. A mob of radical protesters descended upon the Russell Senate Office Building, disrupting proceedings and demanding an end to proposed Medicaid cuts in President Donald Trump’s Big Beautiful Bill. While Capitol Police made arrests, the real question remains: Will these leftist agitators face the same brutal treatment as the January 6 protesters?
The answer, as we all know, is almost certainly no. The radical left has long enjoyed a free pass from the establishment media and the Biden-era Department of Justice. If this had been a conservative protest, CNN and MSNBC would be screaming about an “insurrection” and demanding decades-long prison sentences. Instead, CNBC’s report downplays the incident, casually mentioning that “33 people were arrested for illegally demonstrating inside the Russell Senate Office Building”—as if this were just another day in Washington.

Compare this to the relentless persecution of J6 protesters, many of whom are still languishing in prison without trial for simply walking through the Capitol. The double standard is undeniable. As the Capitol Police spokesperson stated, “It is against the law to protest inside the Congressional Buildings.” Yet, we all know that if these were Trump supporters, the media would be calling it a “violent coup attempt” rather than a mere protest.
President Trump has long warned about the weaponization of justice under the Biden administration. While his political opponents riot, burn cities, and storm federal buildings with impunity, ordinary Americans who dare to question the establishment are hunted down, prosecuted, and thrown in jail. Where is the outrage from the so-called “defenders of democracy” when leftists break the law?
The transcript from CNBC’s report exposes the media’s bias:

Notice how the article emphasizes protesters “in wheelchairs”—a clear attempt to paint them as victims rather than lawbreakers. Would the media extend the same sympathy to a conservative protester in similar circumstances? Of course not.

This is a defining moment for our justice system. If these leftist protesters receive nothing more than a slap on the wrist, it will confirm what conservatives have known for years: The system is rigged against them. President Trump has fought tirelessly to restore law and order, but the deep state and their media allies continue to shield their own.
