Thomas Massie Hits Reporter with a Weird Question After Boebert Affair Allegations [VIDEO]

Massie Denies the Claims and Pushes Back

Rep. Thomas Massie of Kentucky found himself in the middle of a messy Washington street showdown after a Fox News Digital reporter pressed him about allegations from a former congressional staffer. The staffer, Cynthia West, has claimed Massie boasted about having sexual relations with Rep. Lauren Boebert within weeks of his wife’s death. West also alleged that Massie offered her $5,000 to drop a wrongful termination lawsuit tied to her time working for Rep. Victoria Spartz. Massie denied the allegations when asked and then quickly shifted from defense to offense, which is often what happens when politicians feel cornered and the cameras are rolling.

The Question That Turned the Interview Weird

What followed was the kind of exchange only modern politics can produce. The reporter asked whether the timing of West’s claims had anything to do with the Republican primary, and Massie snapped back by asking when Fox News became a tabloid. He then raised his phone and started recording the reporter before asking, “So, let me ask you, I heard that you like gay porn. Is that true?” The reporter did not answer, and Massie kept needling him as he walked away, asking if he was a real loser and whether he was with Fox. It was not exactly a profile in calm leadership, unless the goal was to audition for the role of cranky man yelling at clouds.

Boebert Faced the Same Reporter Earlier

The same Fox News Digital reporter had already confronted Boebert earlier this month about the allegations linking her to Massie, and she reacted angrily. Boebert told the reporter, “F**k you, first of all!” and accused him of pushing sexist clickbait while refusing the premise of the question. The clip added more fuel to a story that has already drawn plenty of attention because it mixes personal allegations, political fallout, and a very public war of words. Massie lost his House seat in the May 19 Republican primary to businessman Ed Gallrein, so this fight is unfolding after voters already delivered their own verdict in Kentucky.
