Another “Tenant Advocate” Surprise

Zohran Mamdani’s new tenant advocate, Cea Weaver, is facing heat after old social media posts resurfaced showing her cheering ideas like seizing private property and treating home ownership as a tool of white supremacy. What Weaver Said
The resurfaced posts from 2017 and 2018 show Weaver writing, “Seize private property!” and claiming that “private property including any kind of ESPECIALLY homeownership is a weapon of white supremacy.” She also pushed for more communists to be elected, because apparently the only thing missing from city government was a louder megaphone for failed ideas. Her critics say she was not talking about rent reform or sensible housing policy. They say she was talking about collecting private property under government control, which is exactly the kind of language that makes hardworking Americans reach for the aspirin.
