Former 2024 Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy has a message for President-elect Donald Trump: “shut it down”. In an explosive interview with political commentator and Daily Caller Co-Founder Tucker Carlson, Ramaswamy revealed his plan for a “mega reorganization” of the federal bureaucracy that could reshape Washington D.C. and bring real change to the government.
Ramaswamy, who was a vocal supporter of Trump during his campaign, believes that many federal agencies should not exist and should be moved out of D.C. He called out the Office of the Surgeon General, the U.S. Department of Agriculture, and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services as examples of agencies in need of major reforms.
But when it came to the U.S. Department of Education, Ramaswamy didn’t hold back. “Shut it down. Send the money back,” he said. “Workforce training can move to the Department of Labor and loan collections can move to Treasury.” In his view, eliminating the Department of Education entirely would be a powerful statement and would stimulate growth in other parts of the country.
But Ramaswamy’s plan doesn’t stop there. He believes that Trump should immediately fire approximately 75% of federal employees to prevent the new administration from becoming bogged down by bureaucracy. “It’s just a mass opportunity for a mega reorganization and downsizing of this bureaucracy,” he explained.
And Ramaswamy has a point. As he mentioned, this move would be a one-way ratchet. Once these agencies are eliminated or relocated, it would be extremely difficult for another president to bring them back. As he put it, they would have to go through Congress to make it happen.
So what does Ramaswamy hope to accomplish with this bold plan? For starters, he wants to make the federal government more accountable to the American people. He also believes that moving these agencies to different parts of the country would create job opportunities and spur economic growth in areas outside of D.C.
Vivek Ramaswamy on how good just triumphed over evil.

During the interview, Carlson asked Ramaswamy if he would like to be involved in this effort. And the answer was a resounding yes. Ramaswamy, who made government reform a centerpiece of his presidential campaign, has been involved in crafting the blueprint for this mega reorganization.
This is a unique opportunity for Trump to make good on his promise to “drain the swamp” and bring real, tangible change to Washington D.C. Ramaswamy’s plan may sound radical, but in the words of Trump himself, “what do you have to lose?”
The opportunity for change is coming this January. Either do it and win or don’t and lose!
All in -just do it!!!!
Go Vivek!!!
Brass Balls Donie, Bad ass Trump = Americans Let put Satin behind us
DHS should be cut in half and rolled back into the FBI, OSHA should be reined in, the EPA should be eliminated completely, and a host of other alphabet agencies should be defunded. I completely agree that the Department of Liberal Indoctrination, formerly Education, should be wholesale eliminated, and their funds returned to local school boards. For too long the DOE has held our local schools hostage by threatening to stop the Federal money tap so they could force us to kowtow to their woke agendas.
Good thinking.
