Watch: Trump OBLITERATES NBC’s Kristen Welker With Reagan-Style Comeback!

President Donald Trump delivered a powerful and commanding performance during a recent interview on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” thoroughly outmaneuvering far-left anchor Kristen Welker who attempted, yet again, to corner him with yet another set of so-called “gotcha” questions. The mainstream liberal media loves to paint Trump as an “authoritarian” and tries endlessly to trap him in their biased interviews. But this time, Trump not only anticipated the setup—he flipped the script and left Welker visibly scrambling.

During the Mar-a-Lago sit-down, intended as a retrospective on Trump’s undeniably successful first 100 days in office, Welker quickly moved to smear tactics. She brazenly attempted to suggest that President Trump was undermining American democracy, asking: “What do you say to those who believe you are taking the country down an authoritarian path?” It’s the kind of leading question we’ve come to expect from liberal reporters—framing the narrative as negative, pushing Democratic talking points, and hoping for a soundbite to use against Trump.

President Trump’s answer was nothing short of masterful. Channeling the great Ronald Reagan, Trump shot back, “Well, there you go again. Why don’t you ask in a different way?” In that moment, Trump instantly seized control of the interview, exposing Welker’s transparent agenda and making it clear that he would not be bullied by leftist narratives.

He then shifted topics to the undeniable fact that America remains a beacon of hope for the world, especially because of his leadership. “Many people want to come into our country,” Trump explained, taking an opportunity to celebrate lawful immigration and the appeal of the American dream under his policies. “Many people love Trump.”

Refusing to let Welker twist the narrative, President Trump reminded her—and more importantly, the American public—why he sits in the Oval Office: “I won the election, they didn’t win the election. I won the popular vote, I won ALL seven swing states by A LOT.” Rather than shy away from false liberal claims of illegitimacy, Trump leaned in, even referencing the mountains of voter fraud Americans know occurred: “Actually, I thought there was a lot of hanky panky going on, but it was too big to rig. So, when you make these statements, ‘people say this, people say that,’ well, they had their chance at the election and they lost big.”

When Welker predictably tried to interrupt, hoping to regain control for her network’s agenda, Trump cut her off and gave her some much-needed advice: “You should ask the question differently. You should say what about the people who want to be in this country?” Instead of letting the media control the conversation with negative hypotheticals, Trump forced them to face American optimism and the real issues.

Even when Welker attempted damage control by claiming she was just letting Trump respond to critics, the President didn’t miss a beat: “These people are going to be very happy,” he said confidently. “It was an absolutely unprecedented 100 days.” In just a few sentences, Trump demonstrated the confidence, clarity, and leadership that continue to win millions of American hearts—even as the liberal media turns itself in knots to attack him.

NBC and other mainstream outlets will inevitably try to distort these moments, desperate to cast Trump as anything but a leader. But every time they try, President Trump shows the American people exactly why he was—and remains—their choice, despite all media opposition.

Not worthless. They epitomize the very essence of what Trump has pointed out as to what is the underlying anti American agenda of the left and what Americans need to fight at every level. They have been, and will continue to be, a great asset to be used in exposing that agenda.
