Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. forcefully denied allegations from his former running mate, Nicole Shanahan, who shockingly claimed that someone—not President Donald Trump—is “controlling his decisions.” The explosive accusations came after President Trump nominated Dr. Casey Means as Surgeon General, a move Shanahan bizarrely labeled as “artificial and aggressive,” even comparing Means and her brother to “Manchurian assets.”
In a desperate attempt to undermine Kennedy’s credibility, Shanahan wrote: “I don’t know if RFK very clearly lied to me, or what is going on. It has been clear in recent conversations that he is reporting to someone regularly who is controlling his decisions (and it isn’t President Trump).” These wild claims align with the liberal media’s ongoing smear campaign against Kennedy, who has been a steadfast ally of President Trump’s mission to drain the swamp and restore integrity to federal health agencies.
Yes, it's very strange. Doesn't make any sense. I was promised that if I supported RFK Jr. in his Senate confirmation that neither of these siblings would be working under HHS or in an appointment (and that people much more qualified would be). I don't know if RFK very clearly… https://t.co/KDb5O5MvAM

Kennedy, in a Fox News interview, dismissed Shanahan’s conspiracy theories, reaffirming his independence and commitment to evidence-based policies. “My decisions at HHS are guided by science and President Trump’s vision—rooting out corruption and putting Americans first,” he declared. Yet, the leftist media, always eager to amplify baseless allegations, has seized on Shanahan’s rantings to paint Kennedy as compromised.
This isn’t the first time Kennedy has faced outrageous smears. In March 2025, Candace Owens exposed an alleged “elaborate sexual blackmail scheme” involving journalist Olivia Nuzzi and blogger Jessica Reed Kraus (@houseinhabit). Owens revealed that Nuzzi, despite being engaged, had a “digital affair” with Kennedy in 2024, sending him explicit photos—raising serious questions about who might be weaponizing such scandals. Kraus, meanwhile, has suspicious ties to Ghislaine Maxwell, further fueling speculation about deep-state manipulation.

The liberal media’s obsession with attacking Trump allies like Kennedy reveals their fear of his success. Under President Trump’s leadership, HHS has made historic strides in transparency and medical freedom—something the left cannot stand. While the New York Times and CNN push gossip and innuendo, Kennedy and Trump are dismantling the corrupt establishment that has long controlled Washington.
