A Sudden Death in Florida
Allison Guerriero, 52, was found dead in her Boynton Beach, Florida, home last Thursday evening, according to her family’s Facebook statement cited in the source report. Guerriero was known for her connection to former FBI Special Agent Charles McGonigal, the former head of counterintelligence in the FBI’s New York field office who later became a convicted criminal. Before her death, Guerriero had posted heavily on X, including 75 posts that same Thursday, according to the report. Her X bio said, “I turned in two time convicted traitor, former head of Counterintelligence for FBI, Charles McGonigal. I’ve been sick with illnesses and injuries for 8 years.” That is the kind of line that makes ordinary Americans ask why so many people tied to big federal scandals seem to live in a world where the rest of us need a decoder ring just to follow the plot.
Her Final Social Media Posts Drew Attention
Several of Guerriero’s final posts are now being reviewed by the public because they came only hours before her death. One post stated, “The FBI is evil.” Another warned people who had seen her with McGonigal not to jump into the comments, saying she had not told people what she suspected because she was trying not to hurt those who had helped her. She also posted a final video to social media, where she spoke about praying rosaries, Saint Jude novenas, and trying to get people to pay attention to names connected to the matter. These posts are not proof of anything by themselves, but they do show a woman who was still publicly pressing her claims right up until the end.

Her Family Is Waiting for Official Answers
Guerriero’s father, William “Bill” Guerriero, told the Daily Mail that the family does not yet know what happened. “We really don’t know yet. We’re waiting to get access to the autopsy report. I believe they’re going to issue a death certificate within the next day so we can get her home and have her put to rest,” he said. He also said, “It could have been an accident. She could have slipped. It could have been anything. We’re waiting for the death certificate so we know what happened.” Boynton Beach police reportedly do not believe foul play was involved. That is an important fact, and it should be treated as such while the family waits to lay their daughter to rest.

Her Role in the McGonigal Case
Guerriero had been in an 18-month relationship with McGonigal, according to the Daily Mail, and that relationship helped bring attention to his wrongdoing. McGonigal, 58, was the former FBI counterintelligence chief in New York and was later tied to work involving Russian oligarch Oleg Deripaska. The report states he is serving six years and six months in federal prison. It also notes that in December 2023, McGonigal pleaded guilty to conspiring with a Russian oligarch and was sentenced to four years in prison. In 2023, he had been arrested after being accused of conspiring with Deripaska, a sanctioned Russian oligarch, and was hit with a five-count indictment involving alleged violations of the International Emergency Economic Powers Act and money laundering counts. For an agency that spent years lecturing the country about foreign influence, this was not exactly a gold-star moment.
Friends and Allies Reacted to Her Passing
Guerriero was also described as a close friend of former New York City mayor and Trump ally Rudy Giuliani. Longtime political operative Roger Stone posted about her death, calling her “a valued colleague, Patriot and Friend.” Whatever people think of the larger political storm around the FBI, Trump-Russia investigations, or McGonigal’s crimes, a family is now grieving a woman who spent years trying to be heard. The fair and decent thing is to let the official facts come out, pray for those mourning her, and remember that behind every headline is a human being, not just another piece on Washington’s broken chessboard.
