President Biden’s Call for Unity: A Closer Look
In a recent Oval Office address, President Biden responded to the assassination attempt on former President Trump. His speech was filled with calls for unity, pleas for lowering the political temperature, and affirmations of our shared American identity. On the surface, these words may seem commendable. However, a deeper examination might reveal a different story.
“Lower the Temperature” – A Case of Double Standards?
One of the key phrases from Biden’s address was his call to “lower the temperature” in our politics. This sentiment is somewhat surprising coming from Biden, who had previously labeled Trump as dangerous, anticipated him being a dictator from day one, and branded him as a threat to democracy. It seems contradictory for someone who has contributed to heating up the political climate to now advocate for its cooling.
Biden’s image of calm reason behind the resolute desk contrasts sharply with his previous rhetoric. If he genuinely wishes to lower the temperature, perhaps he should reconsider his own contributions to the heated atmosphere.
Selective Recollection of Political Violence
In his speech, Biden expressed sympathy for the victims of the tragic shooting at a Trump rally in Pennsylvania. He then used this incident as an opportunity to discuss political violence, citing events such as the Capitol attack on January 6th, an attack on Nancy Pelosi’s husband, and threats against election officials. While these incidents are indeed terrible, it begs the question – why did he not mention instances of left-wing violence?
The summer of 2020 saw cities aflame, businesses looted, and lives ruined in the name of protest. Was this simply overlooked by Biden? Or is it easier to ignore when trying to portray one side as solely responsible for violence?
“We Are Not Enemies” – But Actions Speak Louder Than Words
Biden stated, “We are not enemies, we’re neighbors, friends, co-workers, citizens, and most importantly, fellow Americans.” This is a lovely sentiment. However, if Biden truly believed this, his actions would reflect it. His tendency to vilify half the country suggests otherwise. He had an opportunity to genuinely call for unity but seemingly chose to continue playing politics.
Playing the Victim Card
During his address, Biden lamented the heated state of political rhetoric and advocated for a cooler discourse. Yet he positioned himself as an innocent victim, conveniently overlooking his own inflammatory remarks. It’s akin to an arsonist bemoaning the existence of a fire.
Political Campaign Rhetoric: A One-Way Street?
Biden’s plea for unity might seem more credible if he held himself to the same standards he proposes for others. However, he appears comfortable criticizing Trump and his supporters while expressing surprise when tensions escalate. It seems like a one-way street where Biden can express his views freely, but everyone else is expected to maintain civility.
Final Thoughts
While Biden’s speech was filled with appealing phrases about unity and lowering political temperatures, it also seemed tinged with hypocrisy. He missed a valuable opportunity to genuinely rise above partisan politics and call for unity from all sides. Instead, he appeared to politicize the situation further, dismissing his own part in escalating tensions and ignoring instances of left-wing violence.
If Biden sincerely wants change, it should begin with him. Words are simple, Joe. Actions carry weight. Until you uphold the same standards you expect from others, your calls for unity may lack authenticity.

Even though Dunn died still mourning the fact that he was involved in the deaths of Naomi and Neilia.

Let’s be clear on this — that evil impersonation of a human being has been yelling vulgarities about Trump all along! On day one, he put us on a downward spiral with reversing all of the policies that Trump put in place — out of his own evil heart — then turned around and blamed our economy on Trump. He has a lifelong history of lying. In case some forget, in a previous bid for the White House, he famously bragged (and LIED) that he had advised Golda Meir on foreign policy. The problem with that statement was that, when he made that huge lie, she was not even involved in politics. He lies to cover up other past lies, yet his cronies in the democrazy party continue to cover for him. Then to LIE to the American people in his “Address” is full prool that he is a LIAR and not to be trusted!! I refuse to even listen to the demon-possessed old fool!!
Joe Biden told quite a few whoppers in his debate with Trump. They were easily disputed Democrats like to call Trump a liar. He is a neophyte choir boy define neophyte compared to Biden.
