In a recent event hosted by the National Association of Journalists of Black America (NAJB), former President Donald Trump was invited to participate on a panel. What should have been a respectful dialogue turned into an aggressive confrontation, thanks to ABC News reporter Rachel Scott’s provocative questioning. This incident, which took place on July 31, highlights the ongoing bias in the media and Trump’s unwavering stance against unfair treatment.
The Setup: An Invitation with Ulterior Motives?
President Trump, always ready to engage with the public and media, accepted the NAJB’s invitation in good faith. He anticipated a fair discussion about his policies and their impact on the black community. Instead, Rachel Scott took the opportunity to launch an attack, disguised as a question, right from the start.
The Attack: Unfair and Unbalanced Questioning
Scott began by addressing what she called “the elephant in the room,” listing several instances where Trump allegedly used racially charged language or actions. She mentioned false claims about rivals’ birthplaces, derogatory remarks towards black district attorneys, and even his dinner with a known white supremacist at Mar-a-Lago. Her questioning was more of a speech designed to put Trump on the defensive.
Trump’s Response: Calm, Collected, and Full of Facts
Despite the hostile approach, Trump responded with a mix of calmness and frustration. He immediately called out the nature of the question, labeling it as “horrible” and “nasty.” He questioned the reporter’s professionalism, noting that she didn’t even greet him properly before launching into her accusations.
Trump then highlighted his achievements for the black community. He reminded the audience of his work in reducing unemployment rates among black Americans, his collaboration with Senator Tim Scott on Opportunity Zones, and his crucial support for historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs). He mentioned how HBCUs were financially struggling before his intervention, which provided them with long-term financing.
Media Bias: A Continual Struggle
Trump’s interaction with Scott is a prime example of the bias he faces from the mainstream media. By questioning him in such a confrontational manner, Scott demonstrated a lack of respect and objectivity. Trump has repeatedly called out networks like ABC for their unfair treatment and fake news, and this incident only reinforces his claims.
The Interview Logistics: A Setup for Failure?
Adding to the tension, Trump pointed out the logistical issues that plagued the interview. He was informed that his opponent, whether it be Biden or Kamala Harris, would be present. Instead, he found out they weren’t attending, and the event was set up under false pretenses. Moreover, the interview started late due to technical difficulties, which further showcased the unprofessionalism of the organizers.
Trump’s Legacy: A President for All Americans
Despite the hostile questioning and logistical issues, Trump stood his ground. He reiterated his commitment to all Americans, especially the black community. He proudly stated that he has been the best president for black Americans since Abraham Lincoln, a bold claim backed by his numerous initiatives and policies aimed at improving their lives.
Final Thoughts
The confrontation between President Trump and Rachel Scott at the NAJB panel is a stark reminder of the media’s bias and the challenges Trump faces in getting his message across. Despite the aggressive questioning, Trump remained composed and focused on his accomplishments. His dedication to the black community and all Americans is evident, and he continues to stand strong against unfair media attacks.

Nobody would ever ask Biden why he calls so many black men “boy” or about the integration of schools making them into jungles.

Needed
typical racist trying to bait Mr. Trump. It is shameful to always bring up race. I thought we are all Americans. I don’t know about others out there but I don’t see color of ones skin. What I do see is the content of their character. We need to stop this color Bs and look at the fact that we are all Americans and be truthful, honest and unbiased in reporting. That is outside of the moral content of so many Americans the biggest threat to our freedom. Remember some one named Adolph. He got control of the media and look what happened. Wake up America!
