Judge Andrew Napolitano stated that the FBI did, indeed, offer Christopher Steele $50,000 if he could prove any of the claims in the Trump-Russia dossier.

“I believe, just from examining the public sources, that the FBI offered Christopher Steele $50,000 if he could corroborate the dossier. He either couldn’t, didn’t, wouldn’t, and they didn’t pay him the money,” Napolitano told FOX Business’ Stuart Varney on “Varney & Co.”

Just last week, it was revealed by Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein during his testimony during the oversight hearing that I’m not in a position to answer that question.”

DeSantis followed up by asking, “Do you know the answer to the question? in response to Rep. Ron DeSantis asking if the FBI paid for the dossier.

Rosenstein continued: “I believe I know the answer, but the Intelligence Committee is the appropriate committee…”

WHOA!

Judge Napolitano stated that the committee should have pressed Rosenstein harder to answer the question. “I would have grilled him and subpoenaed an answer out of him because the American public has the right to know,” he said.

“(T)he FBI reportedly relied on the dossier in a September application for a Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act warrant against former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page,” The Daily Caller noted in April

“A Federal Intelligence Surveillance Court judge granted that warrant, meaning that the court agreed there was probable cause to believe that Page was working as an agent of the Russian government.”

As stated during his appearance on Fox News Napolitano noted: “Varney & Co.,” so many questions remain answered: “(H)ow did the FBI get (the dossier); what was the FBI doing with it; did the FBI corroborate it; were they involved with Christopher Steele, the former British intelligence agent who is reputed to have authored this thing?”

This does not bold well for the FBI. They’re dropping like flies and getting caught left and right.

Just last week we told you how FBI director Andrew McCabe is planning to retire — why do you think that is? Cause Trump’s about to bring another house of cards tumbling down.

He stated via Twitter: “How can FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, the man in charge, along with leakin’ James Comey, of the Phony Hillary Clinton investigation (including her 33,000 illegally deleted emails) be given $700,000 for wife’s campaign by Clinton Puppets during investigation?”
