Zelensky Praises Biden’s Call To Action Over Ukraine ‘Genocide’

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has sent out a statement commending Old Uncle Joe after Biden stated that Russian President Vladimir Putin was outright committing “genocide” within Ukraine.

Zelensky put out his message via a few words in a Twitter post directly after the speech by Biden on Tuesday.

“True words of a true leader @POTUS. Calling things by their names is essential to stand up to evil. We are grateful for US assistance provided so far and we urgently need more heavy weapons to prevent further Russian atrocities,” stated Zelensky in the message.

“I’m doing everything within my power by executive orders to bring down the price and address the Putin price hike,” stated Old Uncle Joe during his speech this past Tuesday.

“Your family budget, your ability to fill up your tank, none of it should hinge on whether a dictator declares war and commits genocide half a world away,” he stated.

Biden also doubled down on his reference to Russia’s genocide of Ukrainians to the media in a statement directly after his speech.

“Yes, I called it genocide … Putin is just trying to wipe out the idea of even being able to be Ukrainian.”

Biden’s statements have been rapidly escalating in regards to the Russian invasion of Ukraine ordered by Putin. Back on the 4th of April, Biden called for Putin to be put on trial for his obvious war crimes in the wake of various reports coming to light of the civilian killings he ordered in Bucha, Ukraine. As reported by the Daily Wire:

“One comment to make before I start the day,” Biden told reporters. “You may remember I got criticized for calling Putin a war criminal. Well, the truth of the matter, you saw what happened in Bucha. This warrants — he is a war criminal. But we have to gather the information. We have to continue to provide Ukraine with the weapons they need to continue to fight, and we have to gather all the details so this can be an actual, have a war crime trial.”

“This guy is brutal, and what’s happening in Bucha is outrageous and everyone’s seen it,” Biden continued, before saying that he will be seeking further sanctions in response.

On the second of April, while on a segment of “Face the Nation” on CBS, Zelensky claimed that Russia was committing genocide within Ukraine.

“Indeed, this is genocide,” he stated in the wake of the horrid deaths that took place just outside the capital city in the town of Bucha.
