Nicki Minaj has firmly inserted herself in the controversy surrounding the COVID-19 vaccine and her reported concerns and hesitancy on the subject, which has made her the center of attention for several authorities on the matter such as Dr. Anthony Fauci, earned her a reported formal invitation from the White House ( which the White House states was only over the phone, and, as Minaj herself has stated, extreme censorship on Twitter.
The whole ordeal started with Minaj putting forth her complaints about the requirement of the Met Gala to be vaccinated, going so far as to suggest that the event was not worth even considering going out to get a COVID-19 vaccination. She then chased her complaints with an entirely anecdotal, and entirely unverified story about an acquaintance that went through a very odd side effect of the vaccine.
“My cousin in Trinidad won’t get the vaccine cuz his friend got it & became impotent. His testicles became swollen. His friend was weeks away from getting married, now the girl called off the wedding. So just pray on it & make sure you’re comfortable with ur decision, not bullied,” stated Minaj.
Tucker Carlson, a show host for Fox News, put out his thoughts on Minaj’s vaccine hesitancy, seeming to suggest that the rap artist was seeing this amount of attention not due to the anecdote she provided or even her apparent wariness of the vaccine, but due to the fact that she was suggesting that people make their decisions on the vaccine for themselves, instead of letting themselves be bulled into the procedure by politicians, especially Old Uncle Joe.
Tucker went on to note that Minaj’s comment, “just pray on it and make sure ur comfortable with ur decision, not bullied,” was most likely the trigger phrase that set the media off and made the left-wing political leaders feel threatened: “They couldn’t let it stand.”
Minaj voiced her agreement on Twitter and posted the clip of Tucker’s segment and tweeting out a “bullseye” emoji.

It was at that point that the left-wing people truly foamed at the mouth, according to the replies to Minaj. Seemingly overnight, her mentions were overtaken by individuals warning Minaj that she was just tweeting a “white supremacist’ and that she should think again and not choose to trust the words of Republicans.
“No no no she did not just post a video of tucker Carlson like this holy s*** this is the bad place,” one such left-wing parrot responded.
“Not F***** Carlson! This is Not the look babes you are making things soooo much worse lmao,” added yet another.
The White House reportedly attempted to reach out to Minaj in order to try and help “connect” her with an appropriate resource on the side effects of the vaccine as a way to try and remove her dears. The governments of both Tobago and Trinidad also went on to state, as reported by The Hill, that they have tried to find information concerning Minaj’s acquaintance’s bizarre side effect and have not as of yet been able to find any individual on the island who had reported swollen testicles in the wake of a COVID-19 vaccine.
