Watch! Sunny Hostin Blames The Eclipse and Earthquakes on Climate Change! Unbelievable!

In a recent airing of “The View,” Sunny Hostin’s bewildering attempt to attribute natural phenomena such as earthquakes and solar eclipses to climate change not only missed the mark but veered into the realm of the absurd. Hostin’s commentary, which was swiftly challenged by her co-hosts, epitomizes the kind of misguided and uninformed fear-mongering that unfortunately infiltrates discussions on environmental issues within mainstream media. Her erroneous linkage of unrelated natural events to climate change, compounded by her mispronunciation of “cicadas” not only showcased a glaring lack of research but also highlighted her incompetence in addressing such a critical topic.

Hostin’s co-hosts, notably Joy Behar and Whoopi Goldberg, were quick to point out the scientific inaccuracies in her statements. They reminded her—and the audience—that earthquakes are geological, not meteorological, phenomena, and solar eclipses are predictable astronomical events, neither of which are influenced by climate change. Goldberg’s straightforward clarification that “eclipses happen” and Behar’s insistence on the underground nature of earthquakes were necessary interventions in a conversation that Hostin derailed with her baseless assertions.

This incident is not an isolated blunder but rather a reflection of Hostin’s habitual approach to complex issues, where sensationalism often trumps science. By irresponsibly conflating unrelated events with climate change, Hostin not only exhibits a profound ignorance but also perpetuates misinformation. In an era where climate change is always sensationalized by the left, Hostin’s remarks do a disservice to the public discourse, misleading viewers and undermining the credibility of those genuinely striving to address real environmental challenges and fuels climate alarmists.

The pushback from Hostin’s co-hosts underscores a critical concern among more discerning media personalities and the informed public: the dangerous propensity of some commentators to engage in alarmism rather than factual debate. It’s imperative for public figures like Hostin to recognize the weight of their platform and to commit to accuracy and thoroughness in their discussions on globally significant issues.

Final Thoughts

Sunny Hostin’s recent misstep on “The View” serves as a cautionary tale about the perils of uninformed commentary in the media, especially on issues such as climate change. Her readiness to draw baseless connections between unrelated natural events and climate change not only reveals a disturbing lack of understanding but also contributes to the proliferation of misinformation. This incident should prompt a broader reflection on the importance of informed, accurate, and responsible media discourse. As the world grapples with the realities of real issues, there is no room for the kind of reckless speculation and fear-mongering that Hostin indulged in. It’s a disservice to the audience and a hindrance to the critical conversations we need to be having about our planet’s future.

Just when you think you have heard everything something like this comes along. There are probably a few people who actually believe this rot. Maybe she does too.

My Final Thoughts: Why are you giving these deranged idiots any press at all? Stop giving them what they want and they’ll fade into oblivion.

You can’t feel sorry for these people that are wrong about so many things.
The information is out there, and it’s readily available. They just refuse to accept it.
If the Sonny’s and Greta’s of the world checked some things out instead of blowing off at what some panic stricken “environmentalist says, they wouldn’t get their panties in a wad over things that are the normal progression of science and nature
There is nothing to be done about Climate change, It’s a natural occurrence.
It changes minute to minute as the earth spins and travels through space, encountering worse threats than is created here on earth.
The climate has been changing constantly since this molten mass began to harden
and then started to decay, making way for plant life and eventually animal life to
    develop and evolve.
Anything that’s done by man to change it either way is not going to stop or speed up any change. Considering how long this has been going on, it will be millions of years from now before it makes more than 2 cents worth of difference. By the way, all of us and any of our immediate descendants will have died off thousands of years before.

Reagan was right. It’s not that these people don’t know anything, it’s that so much of what they know isn’t true.
