A group of students from Arizona State University approached and berated two other students due to a sticker on a laptop and a shirt while ranting about the images making them feel unsafe on campus.
As seen in the now-viral video posted to Twitter, the two white male students can be seen minding their own business at a table off to the side. One of the young men can be seen wearing a “Did Not Vote For Biden” t-shirt while the other sports a “Police Lives Matter” sticker on the back of his laptop. This scene escalates as a group of students approach them and a female student begins attempting to belittle them and accuse them of inciting racism.

“You’re offensive. Police lives matter? This is our space. You’re making this space uncomfortable,” whines one of the female students in the approaching group from the video, which has since reached over a million views across social media.
The two black student activists tell the white students that they must leave the area, stating:
“You’re white. Do you understand what a multicultural space means? It means you’re not being centered.”
In response, one of the boys then asks, “White’s not a culture?”
“White is NOT a culture! You think whiteness is a culture? This is the violence that ASU does and this is the type of people that they protect!” screeched one of the activists. “This white man thinks he can take up our space … they think they can get away with this s**t!”
“This is the only place on campus that does not center you, and you are still trying to center yourself which is peak white cis male bulls**t.,” harps one of the activists loudly.
“You are racist. Your sticker’s racist because police, that’s a job, you can choose to be a police. I didn’t choose to be black,” cries the student at one point. “You can choose to be a cop. You can choose to kill people with a badge and you’re protecting that s–t, which means that you’re racist.”
“I’m not racist, I’m just studying,” responded one of the besieged students stated. “I pay the same f**king tuition as you. I’m working 60 hours a week while going to school because my parents don’t just give me money!”
At this point, the student activists switch targets to take aim at the man’s “Police Lives Matter” shouting the claim that it is “affiliated with white nationalists.”
“These people kill people like me and like us, so you’re promoting our murderers,” claimed the other activists.
As all of this takes place, an Asian student walks up and takes up the defense for the white students, but this does not phase the activists who have made up their minds that the men are racist bigots. Eventually, after much harassment, the white students ended up leaving the area, stating that they planned to complain to a dean.
This past Friday, ASU posted a response to the video, which was labeled “a disagreement between students on our campus” on their Twitter page. the statement from ASU reads:
The Dean of Students Office is aware of the disagreement between a handful of students that was captured in a video circulated on social media. The Dean of Students Office will be discussing it with all involved. ASU is a community of more than 100,000 people from all 50 states and more than 150 countries. Differences of opinion are part of the university experience. The university expects respectful dialogue between students in all engagements.
