This past Wednesday, Jen Psaki, the White House Press Secretary, complained about the new legislation in Arizona that bans minors from going through with transgender sex-change surgeries.
Psaki chimed in on social media in the wake of Republican Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey signing a bevy of new culture-war-type legislations that seek to ban abortions after 15 weeks, transgender surgeries for children, and biological males from competing in women’s sports.
She also highlighted Republican Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt who also put pen to paper on a bill that banned all biological males from taking part in any women’s sports this past Wednesday.
“Today, four extreme and harmful bills were signed into law in Oklahoma and Arizona, three targeting transgender youth (2 AZ, 1 OK) and one reproductive health care (AZ),” exclaimed Psaki in a tweet.
“These laws are unacceptable and we won’t stop fighting for justice and equality,” she stated.
The press secretary made sure to use pronounced activist phrasing “targeting transgender youth” to highlight the bill seeking to ban all biological males from women’s sports, to ban children from undergoing transgender surgeries, and to obfuscate the meaning of the legislation.
This past Thursday, The White House highlighted a resource sent out by the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health on “Transgender Day of Visibility” in order to “inform parents and guardians, educators, and other persons supporting children and adolescents with information on what is gender-affirming care and why it is important to transgender, nonbinary, and other gender expansive young people’s well-being.”
The release states that affirmations, “early” transgender surgeries, and hormone treatment are outright “crucial” for the overall health of the children and teens who claim to identify as nonbinary and transgender.
The phrase ‘gender-affirming care’ is one used by transgender activists and the media in order to hide the more girsly sounding transgender bottom and top surgeries, which include removing a biological man’s genitals, removing a biological women’s breasts, sculpting a fake penis on a biological woman, the feminization or masculinization of facial features, and much more.
Puberty blockers, hormones, and social affirmation are all subjects that seem to fall under the venue of “gender-affirming care.”
Lawmakers, commentators, those who identify as transgender, and those who have attempted transitions previously have all expressed their worries about the end result of pushing such topics and surgeries onto children may have.
“Gender-affirming care is a supportive form of healthcare,” claimed the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health sheet. “It consists of an array of services that may include medical, surgical, mental health, and non-medical services for transgender and nonbinary people.”
“For transgender and nonbinary children and adolescents, early gender-affirming care is crucial to overall health and well-being as it allows the child or adolescent to focus on social transitions and can increase their confidence while navigating the healthcare system,” concluded the White House.
