Elon Musk has issued a response to the verbal assault from former President Donald Trump over the past weekend by stating that it was officially time for the 45th president of America to see his way out of politics.
Previously, Trump went after Musk while out campaigning for one U.S. Senate candidate in Alaska this past Saturday, and stated, “[Musk] said the other day, ‘Oh, I’ve never voted for a Republican.’”
“I said, ‘I didn’t know that,’” exclaimed Trump. “He told me he voted for me, so he’s another bulls**t artist.”
Musk fired back against the claim via social media, stating: “Not true.”
Musk went on to respond in a separate tweet that sported a video of Trump issuing his attacks, stating, “I don’t hate the man, but it’s time for Trump to hang up his hat & sail into the sunset.”
“Dems should also call off the attack – don’t make it so that Trump’s only way to survive is to regain the Presidency,” Musk went on.
Musk later claimed that the issue with Trump was that there was “too much drama.”
“Do we really want a bull in a china shop situation every single day!?” explained Musk. “Also, I think the legal maximum age for start of Presidential term should be 69.”
Musk claimed just last month that he was leaning more and more toward supporting Florida Republican Governor Ron DeSantis for president in 2024 when he was questioned about the issue.
“I supported Yang last time, but DeSantis has a better chance of winning,” Musk went on to state.
Musk recently chose to double down on his support for the Republican Party for the upcoming midterms due to how he has been recently treated by Democrats.
“I support free speech, but not any one candidate,” stated Musk via social media. “In fact, I gave money to & voted for Hillary & then voted for Biden. However, given unprovoked attacks by leading Democrats against me & a very cold shoulder to Tesla & SpaceX, I intend to vote Republican in November.”
Musk claimed back in May that he would be finally voting Republican in the upcoming elections despite having “voted overwhelmingly for Democrats, historically.”
“Like I’m not sure, I might never have voted for a Republican, just to be clear,” stated Musk. “Now this election I will.”
Musk claimed that Democrats were being heavily controlled by unions, which he stated was “just another form of monopoly,” and various class-action lawyers.
Musk went on to explain why he previously voted for Democrats and why he can no longer support them going forth.
“In the past I voted Democrat, because they were (mostly) the kindness party,” stated Musk. “But they have become the party of division & hate, so I can no longer support them and will vote Republican. Now, watch their dirty tricks campaign against me unfold.”
