Nikki Haley, the former U.S. Ambassador to the UN, stated her personal thoughts from a speech in which she — or at least someone who claims to be female — will end up being the next president of the United States in 2024.
Originally, Haley issued her statements while carrying out a keynote address at the Christians United for Israel (CUFI) 2022 Washington Summit held in Arlington, Virginia. At that time, she was making reference to the possibility that Old Uncle Joe could end up signing a brand new nuclear agreement with the Islamic Republic of Iran, despite the fact that Iran states that they are now able to build their own nuclear weaponry.
“And if this president signs any sort of deal, I’ll make you a promise,” expressed Haley on social media. “The next President will shred it – on her first day in office.”
While she is considered to be a part of the wide field of possible candidates who could threaten former President Trump for the GOP nomination for 2024, Haley’s comments have sparked large amount of skepticism one the web with her comment, however.
“Any GOP president will shred the deal, which is why they’re gonna try another way,” explained David Reaboi, a national security expert and political commentator, quite plainly. “But regardless, you won’t be president.”
“Imagine how long her staff workshopped this line,” chimed in Jack Posobiec, yet another political commentator.
One former Trump official, Kaelan Dorr, drew a comparison of Haley, a former South Carolina governor, to the now twice-failed Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, stating: “She’ll melt it with the hot sauce in her bag, while chillin’ in Cedar Rapids amirite?”
“Hillary Clinton levels of cringe,” offhandedly explained Steven Cheung, a former Trump White House special assistant to the president, via his Twitter account.
“With all due respect, we want DeSantis,” read another tweet from political commentator Harrison Krank.
various polls that have been carried out and tallied seem to state that Florida Republican Governor Ron DeSantis seemed to be the one in the lead for the spot as the potential primary challenger to Trump. While Florida Republican Governor Ron DeSantis holds the top slot for this position, there are many others in addition to the aforementioned Haley — such as former Vice President Mike Pence and former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo — who have started to make preparation to throw their lot into the race after testing the waters.
