Censorship Abound: Tucker Carlson In Hot Water With Twitter Over Simple Statement

Tucker Carlson, a host for Fox News, has been censored by Twitter for the simple act of defending conservative accounts that the platform has silenced for stating that a biological man is a man.

Carlson’s, the co-founder of The Daily Caller and host of “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” tweet highlighted a series of screenshots of the various notices that Twitter had issued to The Babylon Bee and, as found of Turning Point USA, Charlie Kirk.

“But wait,” Carlson’s reply to the tweet stated. “Both of these tweets are true.”

As reported on Wednesday by The Daily Caller, Twitter officially censored and suspended Carlson’s account. Twitter seems to be refusing to respond to any requests for a statement on the issue as well.

“Tucker plans to address this on the show tonight, so best to tune in this evening,” stated a spokesperson for Fox News.

Recently, Charlie Kirk tweeted about Rachel Levine, the Assistant Secretary for Health for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, who is a biological man who self-identifies as a transgender woman.

Twitter stated that the tweets from Kirk were censored for “hateful conduct.”

“Rachel Levine spent 54 years of his life as a man,” stated Kirk in a tweet that went out on March 15th. “He had a wife and a family. He ‘transitioned’ to being a woman in 2011. Joe Biden appointed Levine to be a 4-Star Admiral and now USA Today has named ‘Rachel’ Levine as a ‘Woman of the Year.’”

“Where are the feminists?” he posited.

Twitter has also taken steps to censor the official account of The Babylon Bee for also “hateful conduct” because of a piece from the Babylon Bee that jokingly called Levine the “Man of the Year.”

This past Wednesday, Seth Dillion, the CEO of the Babylon Bee, stated that the founder of the site had also been forcefully locked out of his account as well.

In the same vein, Twitter also stamped down on Republican Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, who also referred the Levine as a man. However, in this case, the platform marked the comments as hateful but still allowed Paxton’s tweet to remain on the platform, stating, “This tweet violated the Twitter Rules about hateful conduct. However, Twitter has determined that it may be in the public’s interest for the tweet to remain accessible.”

In response to this statement, Paxton issued harsh criticism against the platform for their heavy-handed censorship of accounts for stating “an irrefutable scientific fact:”

Yesterday I stated an irrefutable scientific fact: Rachel Levine is a man. I pointed this out after USA Today named him a “Woman” of the Year. But Levine is not a woman. He has one X and one Y chromosome and other male-sex characteristics. I just follow the science.

For simply saying this matter-of-factly, Twitter blocked it as “hateful.” Users can now only access my statement through a trigger-warning filter. And even then, users can neither like it nor comment on it. At the same time, hundreds of other verified accounts saying the exact same thing remain untouched and unfiltered.

This whole insane episode represents a two-pronged attack from the left — both of which I’m vigorously fighting against. First is the left’s war against human biology, and especially against women. Second is their weaponization of Big Tech against conservative voices.

But Big Tech is not only anti-conservative and anti-Republican. It is now apparently anti-truth and anti-science. I will continue to use all my power to hold them accountable. Even now, I’m exploring legal options to stop their one-sided censorship.
