Biden Makes Another Patronizing Comment

This past Wednesday during a White House event, President Joe Biden made the claim that there is nothing a man can do that a woman cant do just as well or better. These comments that were made by Biden took place at the South Court Auditorium at an event bringing attention to Equal Pay Day.

“There’s a lot to do, but together we can ensure that our daughters have all the same rights and opportunities as our sons,” Biden stated. “And if we’re able to do this, it’ll be transformational for our nation. That’s the goal. That’s what this is all about. That’s what this team, all of you, are all about.”

“Let me make one more point. You know, I’ve told my daughters, granddaughters from the time they [were] old enough to understand what I was saying — and I mean it: There’s not a single thing a man can do that a woman can’t do as well or better,” Biden went on to say. “Not a single thing.”

The reaction to Bidens comment was entirely mocking and anger.

Ben Shapiro, host of The Daily Wire’s “The Ben Shapiro Show,” chimed in quickly with a tweet that highlighted a news article that stated: “FC Dallas under-15 boys squad beat the U.S. Women’s National Team in a scrimmage.” From there, things only seemed to go downhill as many other personalities jumped in with their thoughts on the odd comment that Biden made.

Rita Panahi, a political commentator from Australia, tweeted: “Such patronising bulls**t. Women can do plenty of things better than men but there’s no denying biological reality that men are stronger & faster. How many women want this job?”

Allie Beth Stuckey, another political commentator, wrote: “Maybe I’m weird, but I just don’t need this patronizing nonsense to feel great about being a woman. I’m so glad there are things men can do that I can’t. I’m also pretty thrilled that I can do things men can’t, like carrying and delivering babies. I don’t want to be like a man.”

aa Steve Deace, also a political commentator, stated: “Shorter tee boxes in golf, the lack of female slam dunk champions, the lack of female nose tackles in the NFL, and the fact hundreds of high school boys run faster than our best adult female sprinter says otherwise. But thanks for your beta pandering.”

Mollie Hemingway with fox news chimed in with her tweet saying: “What a preposterous and sad claim. Men and women are different in many ways, and that’s a beautiful and good thing!!”

It seems that the consensus from Twitter is clear. This kind of blatant pandering and old-fashioned comments just do not have a place today. It seems to be becoming more clear that Biden is having trouble adjusting to the new age thinking the rest of us are working with, and that idea seems to be echoed all across Twitter.
