This past Sunday, Elon Musk put out a warning that he may “die under mysterious circumstances” in the wake of one Russian politician making threats against him for aiding and supplying equipment to the Ukrainian defense forces in order to help then push back the besieging Russian military.
Previously, Musk sent in a shipment of Starlink terminals from one of his massive companies, SpaceX, that is currently being used by Ukrainian defense forces to maintain communications and operate their drones.
Musk made use of Twitter to post a screenshot of a translated message that claims that Dmitry Rogozin, Moscow’s space chief, put out to the Russian state media.
“From the testimony of the captured commander of the 36th Marine Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Colonel Dmitry Kormyankov, it turns out that the internet terminals of Elon Musk’s Starlink satellite company were delivered to the militants of the Nazi Azov Battalion and the Ukrainian Marines in Mariupol by military helicopters,” reads the message. “According to our information, the delivery of the Starlink equipment was carried out by the Pentagon.”
“Elon Musk, thus, is involved in supplying the fascist forces in Ukraine with military communication equipment,” continued the message from the Russian politician. “And for this, Elon, you will be held accountable like an adult – no matter how much you’ll play the fool.”

A short while after his initial comment he added, “If I die under mysterious circumstances, it’s been nice knowin ya.”

As acknowledged by Musk himself near the end of March, the Starlink satellite network reportedly was able to fend off, in rapid fashion, multiple attempts from the Russian invasion forces to jam or disable the system.
The director of electronic warfare for the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Dave Tremper, stated near the end of last month that Starlink was able to throw back and disable the attack against it in a faster manner than even the U.S. Military would have been able to and that many officials could stand to learn a thing or two from Musk.
“Starlink had slung a line of code and fixed it,” stated Tremper, highlighting that the quick hotfix ended up foiling and rendering the attack “not effective anymore.”
“How they did that was eye-watering to me,” he stated. “There’s a really interesting case study to look at the agility that Starlink had in their ability to address that problem. “In the way that Starlink was able to upgrade when a threat showed up, we need to be able to have that agility.”
