Roseanne Barr has never been a big fan of Obama, to begin with, but his latest move into the deal with Netflix has her riled that he is being put in a position to spread liberal propaganda and she calls it an unholy alliance.
Obama, arguably the worst president in this country’s history, signed a huge deal to produce content in scripted and unscripted form. It gives him the freedom to do pretty much whatever he wants. Roseanne says that while it’s perfectly fine for someone to go from Hollywood to the White House, going from the White House to Hollywood is an abomination.
“I don’t think any President should go from WH to producing big media 4 public consumption. It’s an unholy alliance. Leave showbiz 2 professionals-altho i do think going from showbiz 2 WH is Ok-I might do it one day, then retire from both.”
Recently, she spoke up about people giving her crap for being a Trump supporter, stating:
“Oh yeah, people are mad about that,” Barr said with a shrug “But, you know, I don’t give a f**k.”
“Everybody had to choose for themselves, according to their own conscience, who they thought was the lesser of two evils,” she explained. “You know, everybody chose that so I’m not going to put anybody down who didn’t vote like me. This is America. This is a free country.”
Barr called the joint venture, which will reportedly have the Obamas consulting on a number of scripted and unscripted projects, “an unholy alliance” while making it clear that she had no problem with people leaving show business for politics.
Barr herself, for example, has run for president twice and said in her tweet that she might do it again in the future. She has also vocally supported President Donald Trump — both in real life and on her recently rebooted ABC sitcom.
Roseanne has been an outspoken supporter of President Trump, both in real life and on her show. She has drawn the ire of the liberal left, who are angry about the fact that the president keeps his promises and that exposes Obama for the failure he was.
